Refugio de la Salamanca is located next to the hill of the same name, to get there you have to follow the GR 10. The views are spectacular.

A campsite that spends most of the year closed. Hopefully you find the door open and being very respectful you can take shelter on a bad weather day in the highest town in Extremadura.
