The Top 20 Peaks in Somerset

Dunkery Beacon, atop Dunkery Hill, is the highest point in Somerset. Standing at 1,705 feet (520 m), it boasts spectacular views. On a clear day, views stretch across the Bristol Channel and Wales, Exmoor and Dartmoor.

When you reach the 1,011-foot (308 m) summit of Selworthy Beacon, you're afforded magnificent views over the rolling countryside and out to sea. There are many great walks in the area and the South West Coast Path crosses the beacon.
