  4. As the weather had washed us right onto the Rhone, we went for a nice ride☺️. Due to the stupid and unnecessary time change, we had to queue up early to get out of the rut. And it was worth it 😍. We set off from a car park right on the Rhone and followed the river, which is deeply carved into the land

Now we have landed near the French Alps and have done a short but brisk ride in glorious weather.

We started at a hiking car park near Lavars and first cycled to the secret highlight, the Pont du Drac😍. It is a cable bridge over a gorge in the middle of nowhere. Only hiking trails lead there, but since

Today we wanted to do an ambitious tour around the Verdon Gorge, but unfortunately we've never had the pleasure of cycling here😅, because of the weather and so on🫣.

Now it should work, and after a good breakfast we saddled up right at a hiking car park here, and Doreen was already snapping the first

Since we were already raving about this area yesterday, we just stayed here and devoted ourselves entirely to the gorges of le Baou and Verdon 😍. Yesterday we couldn't cycle up from the starboard side (the road was completely closed), so today we just looked at the Verdon Gorge from the other side

Taking advantage of the great weather was our motto today☺️. So we set off from a hiking car park near Ampus, wearing shirts because it was already getting quite warm, and found our way to Chateaudouble, a medieval village, which we leisurely inspected. The people here look relaxed and the old walls

Another day in the South of France that feels good ☺️. Today we start from a hiking car park in the Esterel mountain range and first roll down the mountain, once to the right and there is another barrier sign (no,🥶 why?). Anyway, we overcome the barrier on a single trail and are back on course, cross

Today's chill Sunday should take us to Louis de Funes. We park the Vito right in a beach parking lot and then we roll along a good cycle path to St. Tropez, where the Old Gendarmerie actually advertises with the portrait of Inspector Cruchot. Posing photos were a must🤣. We could even have gone to the

To top up our travel funds, we had to take a chance at the roulette table, so we quickly went to the casino😆.

No, all joking aside, we wanted to explore the rocky spur village of Èze, which was explicitly on our plan, and also laze around a bit.

We managed to laze around quite well at the beginning, because

Today we were in the mood for a quieter area and wanted to have a look around the Loup Gorge. 😊

We started from a car park next to a paragliding school and rolled downhill really quickly, then slowed down to admire the very beautiful waterfalls, which you can enter for a euro. The money was really well

Today we simply moved a little further and looked for sun in the weather app... and found it 😊.

We started at a car park in Salignac and followed the valley of the Riou de Jabron, which led us into the middle of it in bright sunshine and with the ever-changing mountain panorama in front of us. We followed

Today we had to avoid a bad weather episode and ended up in Gap. A pretty place with great cycling infrastructure and a lively, cute old town 😊.

We had mentally prepared ourselves for a rainy day of city lounging and strolling, so we were all the more pleased about the dry weather, even if it was quite

Yesterday we decided to change the area (due to the weather) and we were spot on 😁. We set off quite early from a hiking car park near a Roman aqueduct and inspected it thoroughly 😍. It's hard to imagine how advanced and technologically advanced the ancient Romans were 2,000 years ago👍. We then cycled

For today's French holiday 😉 we preferred to stay away from the hustle and bustle and headed to the Camargue nature reserve. The planning turned out to be a lottery, as a lot of water had been falling from the sky recently and there was always the danger of not being able to get the connection in the

As always, curiosity took us to this corner ☺️. Today we started in Beziers, a medium-sized city (80,000 E), next to a park. Then we headed out into the Ländle, where we took the EV8 again, which runs along the Canal du Midi, a waterway from Toulouse to the Mediterranean that was built 350 years ago

After yesterday's visit to the city, we retreated to the mountains today and wanted to do a village and mountain tour 🤗. We started at the hiking car park below the charismatic mountain village of Combret, which we of course visited and were happy that the weather was clearing up😊.

For today, Doreen has thrown something particularly pretty into the planning pool, namely the George d' Heric, and I have made a round for ourselves☺️.

We started from the Douch hiking car park, a tiny village that is hidden away like a refuge. We inspected it briefly before rolling gently down the mountain
