Where families spend their holidays at the seaside, you swing on your roadbike and let stiff breezes test your character. Passing sheep and windmills, you sweep over dams and dikes on the best asphalt, leave the beach chairs on your left and can easily cover several kilometres. Dams built for coastal protection allow you to explore many islands and hallig islands by bike directly from the mainland — usually without a ferry. Behind the dams you will find unique dune landscapes and the largest beach in Northern Europe. Are you losing your mind? You want to go back to Westerland? Then let's get going!

Our five tours are already waiting to show you the rough North Sea coast from its most beautiful side. You can decide for yourself what your windy adventure will look like by choosing the right route for you. Two shorter tours are suitable as a relaxed half-day trip, which you can start without much planning. The remaining three tours are considerably longer and are ideal for demanding day trips. Together with ferry trips and train transfers, they have what it takes to become a real micro-adventure that you won't soon forget.

Off to the island! Okay, in fact, this beautiful round takes you to a peninsula: Eiderstedt is connected to the mainland and was once created by land reclamation and Eindeichung. The peninsula is known for its resorts, especially Sankt Peter-Ording, where also their landmark stands, the lighthouse Westerheversand

In the midst of the Wadden Sea lies the peninsula Nordstrand, which basically combines all the features of a real island with a plus that is extremely practical for cyclists: the approximately four-kilometer-long dam connects Nordstrand with the mainland, making it a beautiful destination for a short
