Tall Girl (2019)
Apparently I'm a giant?
Okay, so, I'm from the Netherlands and here my height is actually below average, but this movie states I am giant (humongous, immense, colossal, massive, even ginormous) and would never find a boyfriend taller than me? Like c'mon, what the fork is this shirt?! It's true, I've never had a boyfriend before at age 19, but I think that's because I'm nuts and not because of my height. Everything in this movie was unrealistic and too predictable. Like she walked into a room to avoid two people who are constantly pestering her, and who was in that room doing the one thing she likes (but up until that moment refused to do anymore because of her height)? Right, the boy she likes (because of his height). UGHHH
Falling Inn Love (2019)
My eyes did a full 360 in my eye sockets
I knew it would be absolutely cheesy when I started it, but damn, the cheesyness still hit me. As stated in my review's title, my eyes rolled throughout this movie more than once. I can't possibly wrap my head around how any moviemaker can still make these kinds of movies. Yes, they can still entertain you and yes, people will watch them because they are suckers for this genre when they are feeling down. But please, spend the money of three of these kinds of movies on one well made movie and you'd reach so many more people with it.
This was absolute trash and the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars anyways is because it somehow still managed to entertain me.
The Princess Switch (2018)
So cheesy it's actually okay
I can't even remember how many times I eyerolled throughout this movie. But I can also not lie that I still quite enjoyed it.
I've seen a lot of cheesy Christmas movies, but this one was by far the most predictable. Every single thing went exactly as I expected it to go.
But oh well, sometimes movies don't have to have some kind of deep message. Movies exist to enjoy people anyways, and that's what this movie does for probably a lot of teen girls.
I would only recommend this movie to girls aged 12-16 maybe. For the rest of the world it's just too much and a waste of time (unless you don't know what to watch on Netflix and go watch some cheesy movies like I did).
