Indian Police Force (2024)
High on star power, low on quality
Very boring and monotonous series. Very poor screenplay and story. There is no imagination at all in making of this series. Everything is shot on CGI which becomes tiring quiet repetitive after a while. Please let your brain rest when you watch this movie otherwise it may interfere with the entertainment. It seems that the entire story has been written in one day by someone in 5th class. I don't know how can people give such high ratings after seeing series like family man, specail ops. As always they underestimate the audience. These kind of stories may be a hit formula for movies, but won't fare for a TV series. It is time that filmmakers stop making such stuff and actually make soemthing worth watching.
Highly disappointed. Don't bother watching even for curiousity.
Case Toh Banta Hai (2022)
Very foolish show that leaves you with a headache
The show is very poorly written. It only has poor jokes. A literal waste of time. How can these celebrities even come with such a stupid show. It literally feels as if someone got high and came up with this.
The concept maybe fine but the jokes need to be much better. Just hinting at the mention of some adult content does not qualify as a joke. I think they need to hire a proper writer for the show and not just come up with jokes as you get high.
In today's world, you need to make a show with intelegent comedy. You cannot throw anything at the people. Very poor effort by ritesh deshmukh and the whole team.
Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022)
Lack of maturity and poor direction
In a world where we have great superhero movies from studios like Marvel's, Brahmastra is much more than a disaster. Directed by someone who only knows how to make love stories, this alas is not so different. The movie has a great concept deriving elements from mythology and merging it with superhero genre of astraverse. But where the movie fails is that it treats it's audience like 5 year old kids. You have to accept everything that is being thrown at you without any reasoning. There is no logic to the story, boy and girl meet and they instantly fall in love. And for some reason that love is so deep that she is ready to go with a stranger to other part of the country on their second meet and he is ready to sacrifice himself for it. But why is it so deep, there is no explanation for that. You are just supposed to accept it because they say so.
VFX is all sparkles and lights and nothing else. It is like seeing fireworks through the film. What should have been realistic, is actually just a bunch of lights floating around the character.
Superhero origin movies are supposed to be about finding inspiration, that make you fall in love with the character and respect him at the same time. Ranbir's first conversation with amitabh is so foolish, ranbir talks like a spoilt child and amitabh just says you have to do this and ultimately he does it. There is no depth to the story or to the characters. The characters act like spoilt brat. The story lacks any connection with the present reality nor does it try to explain why anything is happening. This movie is a combination of poor storywriting, foolish dialogues, improper editing and failed direction. Movie could have been much more, had the money been spent on the right things except for just acquiring expensive cast and useless VFX. A huge disappointment and a big no to watch this film.
JL50 (2020)
Good story but horrible direction and screenplay
The story is fine but the screenplay and direction were terrible. The story could have been very thrilling and exciting but it has been presented in a very dull and mundane way. Abhay deol seemed like he was forced to act in the show, he didnt add any character to the role. Although the story is scientifically inaccurate, but still enjoyable. If you have run out of content to watch, then you can have a good 2 hours of fun.
