Years ago I took my daughter to watched Beettlejuice the orginal movie. This time she took me. We were really glad to see that the sequel had Keaton and some of the other original characters. This one is as much fun as the original. (Between my daughter and I we are 127 years old. Bettlejuice is not the one who is very old, lol. He's the evil character you love to see!) Not to take away from the rest of the actors, we were not disappointed. Really enjoyed both the old and new characters. Really glad to see William Defoe and Danny DeVito and of course Winona Ryder. Plus the old and new dead people.
I'm confused, the real name of the person playing the main character of this movie doesn't seem to match the name of the of the main actress of the movie, I just watched, but what shows up at the top of this review matches what shows up in Tubi. Of course, I could guess why (see my rating). This is supposed to be a serious revenge movie, which confuses me even more, since I was (and am still) laughing. First of all, the little black girl that is supposed to be the main character as a child, turns white as an adult. How? She wants revenge because some one posted a video, that she had posted before, (LOL) about her and a team. I know, I'm very confused also. This is the worse movie I have ever seen and I am 77 and post reviews here often. I am still laughing.
I really liked this movie. I'm 77 and I have been a fan of horror movie since the first one my dad allowed me to go see: The Blob 1958. This is one of the best underrated horror movie that I have seen in a long time. It is creepy without actually showing much, it's all the small details, you have to pay attention. Both main actors were excellent, while being very low key. Just regular college buddies. This proves that you don't need to show a lot of terrible and creepy things, I know many don't agree with me, but I have seem more horror movies than most people. Also very good choice in terms of the music, spanning generations. I even got to sing along. And then I had to restart the ending twice, for some strange reason it would just stop.
