Limitless (2011)
Fun adventure movie but unrealistic and misleading
The first time I saw this, I thought, wow, this is real neat.
Then I started to think about it's message.
That the key to your success and bringing out your best is 'outside' you - in a pill.
Jerry Garcia once said this of Western medicine, that you are told the solution is outside you, in a pill.
I think it's a poor message for younger adults to say, it's all the pill ! Not you.
I'd much rather have someone who maybe - meditates and finds a place in themselves they can draw on for equal intellectual feats as seen in this movie.
The movie opens up first scene showing him disheveled, saying 'For someone who doesn't have a drug or alcohol problem, who looks like this - a writer is who'
Well he's smoking a cigarette - there is your drug problem and the very next scene he's at a bar drunk - sitting at the bar slamming beers, and there is your alcohol problem right there.
I'd even argue alcohol IS A drug, in fact, this entire movie promotes substance abuse.
Fun watch, but keep in mind the message isn't a good one.
Fire from Below (2009)
Figured if rated 2.7 how bad could it really be?
Well - the 2.7 rating is HIGH.
REAL nice special effects with the fire, someone clearly imported some computer graphics effects processing to the project, but short of that?
You will want to skip this one, it's not even so bad it's good.
I didn't recognize any of the actors, but the shaky camera on opening scene was a hint to me this is amateur hour.
I struggle to figure out who would make a movie like this.
It's worse than bad.
Destroyer (2018)
Wish it could be ZERO stars, no wait, negative...
I not only want my money back - I want to sue.
Perhaps the Jungian Shadow of Kidman underneath that pretense of perfection normally presupposed to the retina.
The producer should be exiled to North Korea to assist Kim Jong Un further his father's movie producing ways and days.
What was this movie even about?
Let's see- a righteous police officer who - only what ? STOLE MONEY and kept it - oh I see- she's SO RIGHTEOUS but she's no better than the loser gang members she used to hang out with.
Let's see- OH NO - Nicole sees a bank being robbed, COULD SHE just shoot out the tires of the get away car??? OH no, not Nicole- she has to go in with a fully automatic weapon and fire across innocent civillians escalating a bank robbery into a gun fight.
This movie isn't even bad enough to be good, the kind of bad that's SO bad it's good.
What a nightmare.
Let's see- her 16 year old daughter won't stop living with that 24 year old man, and doing lord knows what else, but Mommy, the police officer says 'oh well I tried- go ahead - leave with him back to his place' She is 16 - why doesn't Nicole just take her? She's a minor.
Why does LOSER GANG LADY pretending to be a police officer even ABANDON her child? What is this woman even ALIVE for? She has ZERO to offer ANY human being and ZERO to offer society short of the money she kept this entire time, pretty much reducing her TO the very criminals she is SUPPOSED to be stopping.
After seeing this? I actually WANT to WATCH EYES SHUT, I want to SEW my eyes wide shut.
And JUST when I thought it could get no worse?
Yet ANOTHER SCENE
after another of POINTLESS filming.
What is WRONG with this director? This was a total NIGHTMARE - I feel DAMAGED for life after seeing this.
I'm glad Nicole brought forward a change of face at least - even if she looked like a filled up ashtray with a crack running through it on some card table at a flea market with no one shopping in on some rainy day as a cloud of fresh diesel meanders over from the high way from a passing truck.
To the director- PLEASE see note above about moving to North Korea to further your career.
I don't even get the title -
The Title SHOULD BE - "Washed up loser criminal who's face looks like a Truck ran over it- who pretends to be a Police officer but is REALLY a criminal at the same time abandoning her life, society and her own broken family'.
WHAT KIND OF FINAL LINE was that?
Mother to daughter 'You can be better than me'
NO you LOSER HAG THIEF - SHE IS BETTER THAN YOU.
ZERO EMOTION for ANY of the characters
AND STAY IN NORTH KOREA while you're at it!
Yeah, this movie is a destroy no doubt, destroyer of careers.
Outsourced (2006)
Calibrated me to Indian culture
I was surprised by this movie.
I thought ok - here is 'yet another' fail - comedy etc.
Not sure if it was the directors intent?
But one can ONLY FALL IN LOVE with Indian culture in this movie.
MANY SURPRISES for you in this film
Not sure - but it looks like a TV Series spawned from it
All I can say is - I have a new revered respect for Indian culture as a result of watching this.
I STILL struggle with Indian culture but this movie has really helped me to find reverence.
Dignity in all people
I WILL rewatch this at some time in the future.
Just a beautiful offering - the Producer wins
The writers WIN
THE VIewers - WIN
and no doubt the actors - I'm already off exploring other works from so many in this film.
SOMETIMES things JUST work out magical without PRETENSE
This film is one of those times :)
Widows (2018)
Why can't I choose 0 of 10? DO NOT WATCH
Why? I do believe I have found a NEW candidate for the worst movie EVER made.
For sure - I will be SCARRED from Liam's presence in ANY movie going forward.
WHO in their RIGHT MIND OVER put this screen play to pen?
What were they thinking? Let's emotionally manipulate people ? WASTE THEIR TIME?
And then there was that DAMNED DOG
WTH - I mean WTH
How DUMB ARE THESE PEOPLE ?
SO many holes in this plot AND movie - I can never watch any of these actors AGAIN - EVER
This movie wasn't JUST BAD - this movie should COVER GROUP THERAPY costs for VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS who actually watched the entire movie just to see where it goes - or DOESN'T GO.
SHAME on ANYONE who had ANYTHING to do with EVER bringing this movie to the cutting room floor.
I wish I could accept a linear time model JUST SO time travel WOULD be possible so we could go BACK and just prevent this movie from EVER being made.
Of course it's not as bad as Netflix's The Punisher - especially season 2. :)
Apollo 13 (1995)
STILL SMILING
'Where's My Mountain'
'Just gotta look hard enough'
I AM STILL in perma grin on just the FIRST TEN MINUTES of this movie
YES- I've seen it before
SO MAGICAL to RECREATE HOW
WE WENT AGAIN to the Moon
This is OUT OF THIS WORLD material folks.
And this movie will take you OUT OF THIS WORLD
Shooter (2016)
Why didn't they just copy the USB stick
So much senseless killing all to get an IRA so two people can retire.
Why not just make a copy of the USB stick?
I just KNEW as SOON as I saw Mark Wahlberg involved, I was going to be emotionally manipulated.
I do NOT recommend watching this series- it just falls apart..
Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018)
Where was the CARAVAN ?
I'm sure Fox News will LOVE giving THIS movie attention to stir up more paranoia about all people from Mexico being Sicarios.
Too many loose marbles in this venture - Was it the Walmart scene? Was it the little girl being kidnapped? that what was the purpose of that again? US DEA says hey - let's kidnap a girl- it will make Trump putting kids in cages look like something that can be manageable by the press?
Movie ends with an ADULT? HELPING OUT A TEEN BOY become a killer ?
Gee- this sure wasn't The Equalizer II here.
This movie - if you can CALL it that was SO disconnected? One can ONLY WONDER if it was psycho-political babble put out to help build that fear of the Caravan
This movie made DEA out to be KIDNAPPERS - indeed.
Yet they get to fly around in their EXPENSIVE AS F Blackhawk helicopters WE ALL PAID FOR - kidnapping little girls.
NICE paint job - AGAIN - this movie makes Trump putting kids in cages look like an episode of Dora the Explorer in a Ski Resort in Abu Dhabi.
This isn't even a movie - BEWARE - do NOT WATCH- They kidnap a little girl to induce a cartel war so the US can brand cartels as 'fer sure' terrorists. GEE- makes you wonder if ISIS is MANUFACTURED to 'get that terror response' SAME THING - who SCRIPTED this - WHO PAID THEM - and WHO is SELLING this PROPAGANDA AS IF it's a movie?
This movie makes me want to write some software that acts as an ACTOR or SCREENWRITER FIREWALL - that pops up if I see something with an actor on my list - and BLOCKS IT - as I will SURELY DO MANUALLY for ANY AND EVERYONE IN THIS CROCKPOT FULL OF HORSE MANRURE LEFT ON FOR 18 days in the Mexican desert PRESENTING ITSELF as a MOVIE.
Reprisal (2018)
I'd go negative stars if possible DO NOT WATCH
Well I suppose Bruce Willis's career is officially over.
I have to wonder now about his other movies.
This movie needs to be used in film school, to demonstrate how a director or writer has to try REAL hard to make the worst movie ever.
Do NOT watch this movie- or if you do- remember this sentence.
There isn't even potential for this movie to go cult due to it being SO bad.
"And it's on me" ? WHO says that to an ambulance driver?
AS IF it wasn't going to be paid for?
Tell your neighbors, tell your friends- DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE
War Machine (2017)
Why no Oscar for Brad Pitt
There is a delicate line between satire and demonstrating a brutal statement about a pointless war.
All I know is, not once did I ever think 'This is Brad Pitt' that USUALLY only happens with Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino...
McMahon really sums up some blind optimism - this movie had me reminding myself underneath any uniform, is a human being. Period.
No temporary political ideology can rob us of our humanity that came down polished for hundreds of thousands of years - not some 300 year half baked end of day it's corporatism ANYHOO political ideology.
The only thing missing from this - that could have made it a 10 would have been presence of Enron.
For Enron played a great part in US occupation of Iraq. All goes back to Sugarland Texas when the Taleban was invited by now Chevron - if they were going to be a problem with the Enron planned Turkmenistan natural gas pipeline.
Looks like they said they would be- and they did.
Enron also just 'happened' to be the #1 campaign contributor to the Bush and Cheney 2000 campaign.
Twelve Monkeys was a fun role for Brad Pitt no doubt but I think this is his best performance to date. Me? I would have liked see an Oscar for Pitt on this one.
This movie can be watched many many times for some precious scenes.
'Ya see - it's like raising a child - you need two parents'
'Woodward ? OH NO '
'Steps to freedom - you familiar with the moon landing? '
I do so wonder how this movie might have come across had it been released in 2004.
Let's all hope there won't need to be a sequel, but the way things are going in Afghanistan - there might need to be a sequel to this movie. Ugh
The Case for Christ (2017)
0 out of 1 rating
This movie never gets out of the circus maximus tent.
It's as if the journalist decided to explore mathematics except they forgot something.
They go to the chalk board, in an attempt to prove '1' exists.
So they just write 1 1 1 1 1 1 1
OVER and OVER on the chalk board.
And yet ? somehow ?
This clown suit vacant of the clown ?
forgets to even DARE explore the beauty of ZERO.
Save yourself the trip - maybe stop off and visit Scientology? or a local Catholic Church ? same difference, only one I see is - Hubbard KNEW the only tax haven was through religion, most other families with 23 billion or more ? have family become senators to lower those taxes.
The only TAX you'll pay watching THIS film
is your OWN IGNORANCE TO EVER have brought it before your retina.
Me? I would have LOVED to just gone for a former Charlie's Angel's Kate Jackson flick on Lifetime - probably would have been more rewarding too !
Road to Perdition (2002)
I'll be brief
This was a troubling experience to witness.
I had no idea what it would be about.
Key concepts are - loss of innocence.
And the scene where Tom Hanks locks away his weapons It was most painful to witness the loss of innocence by his son.
Some Star Wars - find out what Daddy does for a living elements here.
Good ole Darth - eh- depends on what day you catch him on I guess.
I am only 1/4 way through the movie by the way writing this :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND SO FAR?
The Runner (2015)
Wow- surprise to me.
I STILL may think Nicholas Cage's career is over based on many recent movies...
But I dare say- this was possibly I think - he's best performance ever.
I didn't even know it was Cage.
The story is terrific.
The line his father gives is HILARIOUS - 'Ya know what I say- F em - F the press - F the admin - and hell- F the people'...
I spent EASILY 25 minutes in my kitchen mastering that line.
This movie has merit
The acting ? I really really REALLY enjoy - it's EASY to find Cage's wife cold - made me think of House of Cards- CAREER brokered marriage and then - the phony guilt.
Cage's wife in this movie helps me realize- THROW GENDER OUT THE WINDOW - people SIMPLY CHASE POWER - HUMAN BEINGS CHASE POWER - doesn't matter - male- female - POLARITY - ANYTHING
HUMAN BEINGS CHASE POWER
That said
I have to finish watching this one... Only 1/3 of the way through.
FINALLY- REDEMPTION to witness Cage DOING SOMETHING MEANINGFUL and BEYOND himself - I still think his career is over- BUT JUST MAYBE - he'll find a rare opportunity to really shine as an actor as in this movie.
NO IDEA WHY or HOW it's below 5 on ratings.
I give it a 10.
MatchStick Men ? CLOSE for Cage
I don't - nor ever will know Nicholas Cage- we're all JUST people end of day- but - I REALLY like his work here - and in a FEW productions he's had opportunity to connect with in the past.
I forget WHO it was - actor - that said- the ONLY GOAL is - to TELL THAT STORY.
Cage does that here.
Guy who plays his father is TOPS.
Revolver (2005)
Believe nothing you see
I think I saw this when it came out and though - oh - another useless Jason movie.
Oh contraire - I held through this - wondering why Ray invested time into it.
What many will not get is - what we see in this movie - are not real.
For example, I once saw the book for Deliverance - the author on the back said the characters in Deliverance were actually all parts of one persons psyche.
Now, did that ever come through with Deliverance ? no
HOWEVER in THIS movie, this movie has it's surreal setbacks but at the SAME TIME - it's far more than a passive cinematic venture.
You can actually grow from watching this, here is a HINT as to where I'm at with the movie...
The neighbors he had in his solitary confinement cell?
never existed.
A troubled mind will go through great extent to keep itself alive.
This movie is worth rewatching, the symbolization of the little girl is still an open book for me.
Easily one of the most complex intellectual offerings I've ever encountered.
If you are going through your 19th nervous breakdown, this movie is FOR YOU!
The Ninth Gate (1999)
Sure are a lot of Shell Oil scenes
On so many levels, this movie is a dark comedy.
Gee- Johnny Depp goes down wit da devil - HERSELF !
heh
Count the times Shell oil is in this movie.
I just can't figure out if they're making some point that Shell oil, hell and Satan are all combined.
Who knows, maybe the senior executives at Shell oil all belong to one of these bang-a-boo-boo- orgy key party swingers post marital crisis scenes.
'Have you seen her SECRETARY?'
great line- you'll remember that one. heh
And what's with the grapefruits?
I STILL argue this movie has a strangely suspicious side theme of Shell oil in here.
It was Shell oil that destroyed the Amazon, I supposed that's close enough to evil.
Nothing beats Johnny Depp though doin' down wit da devil...
Could have been one helluva embedded Trojan ad I suppose.
'Yes, the devil does prefer use of a condom' ?
Something tells me dat devil had some plans up her sleeve to give birth to someone.
Probably a sequel.
Then again post Depp's divorce, I think he'd probably had it with the ninth gate of hell.
LOVES me some Depp's'z's - great movie - watch for the Shell oil scenes... REAL strange... it's as if this is the work of Kubrick.
The Great Buck Howard (2008)
Malkovich at his best
The movie is painful as to witnessing humility - a man so alone - so full of himself - unable to see himself. When someone asks if Buck has family... "There is no one - just him"
I give this movie EASILY 10 of 10 as to Hanks ? short role- but producer ? 10 of 10 too.
Some GREAT ROLES brought forward here
BEST ACTING
It doesn't get much better here
what a BEAUTIFUL MOMENT
AS SOON as Buck hit the big money
it no longer had meaning
SO MANY COMPLEX messages in this cinematic offering.
I will cherish this film forever
Malkovich - once again-
he really nailed this one
PAINFUL - LOVING - COMPASSIONATE- begetting humility -
what MORE can you ask for ?
Hanks brings out FULL TILT at the end though
BIG money vs ?
JUST PRECIOUS
This movie brings SO many valuable themes to the surface
father to son - that's big - that's humanity
yet? Buck ? vocationally ? to son -
all I can do is give this production 10 of 10 -
and celebrate the final result
John Malkovich is SO good at playing this role - you never ever think Malkovich - you ONLY see Buck.
Columbo: Requiem for a Falling Star (1973)
As good as it gets with Columbo
Watching this again for the nth time...
You never know - at the beginning This is one of the best written episodes.
It leaves you wondering.
Who is going to do WHO in? Is it envy ? or prevention - or what ? Just a GREAT offering in the entire series.
The Falk is gone from us now in reality but may Falk live on in this one.
She puts on the animal skin jacket
I DO wonder if she's going to tilt the human spirit
and do something no other animal might do
and where there is sex ? death isn't too far along eh ?
Forever.
Actually-
THIS EPISODE -
APART from ALL others
COMPLETES Season 1 Episode 1
TO PRESENT - full 180 polarity -
JUST A WONDERFUL TREAT OFFERING in scripting
and of course- sound track
Railroad Alaska (2013)
For the scenery alone
I have been fond of Alaska reality TV shows for the scenery.
However, many shows just complicate the matter with pointless theatrics.
I think of all the shows though, this one wins considering so much terrain the train passes through is simply uninhabited.
I once saw a documentary on Kamchatka, that was interesting when the host said 'there is not a single human being 400 miles in any direction'.
This show has some amazingly beautiful scenery - period.
Trains are always a fun ride anyway, but I highly recommend catching this show at least once.
If only there were more passenger trains?
Who knows maybe with global warming, Alaska becomes the new Texas.
Mississippi Grind (2015)
Easily to become a classic
If you've missed Charles Grodin and Robert De Niro in Midnight Run ?
eh- this isn't THAT movie, but Ryan Reynolds might just stir in you the ghost of Charles Grodin...
Aside from a Twain esque adventure here- you will find a terrific foot massage
The gem in this movie perhaps though is Ben Mendelsohn.
What a real treat - one of the better faces of humanity I think you will agree.
I've seen a few very poor movies come out lately involving gambling, Gut Shot Straight, maybe that was the one with Steven Segal, maybe it was that most horrid contraption with Mark Whalberg - but this movie really delivers a wonderful cinematic landscape that will keep you very interested in the characters - scenes...
Hats off to the director - and actors involved in this production.
I HIGHLY recommend watching this - your time will be well spent.
Myself ? I discovered two new actors to keep an eye on - Ryan Reynolds, and Ben Mendelsohn.
Something quite magical about both of them.
GREAT CASTING here.
AT TIMES I felt like PERHAPS I finally encountered my ever so sought after Ishtar II - with Hoffman and Beatty...
There are many moments between Mendelsohn and Reynolds that will have you thinking about Ishtar - I might be alone on that, short of Quentin - who does show Ishtar time to time to friends...
I do so miss Charles Grodin, but SOMEWAY - SOME HOW - and NOT to cheat Ryan from being Ryan - Ryan is carrying a torch forward - as an actor such that I think Grodin carried - it takes a great intelligence to be aware of how others see you- and work with that, Reynolds has that delicate eye. I can't wait to see what else he invests his time into.
What else can I say- but thank you to the cast - crew - director- writer and this is a GENUINE GEM here - granted I'm only 50% through the movie so heh- maybe I spoke too soon - there might be something more brewing here than I am aware of beyond a Twain esque adventure down the Mississippi -
I had to update my review here - just watching a few minutes further
It is MORE than fair to say - this cinematic venture will bestow upon you some all so true moments - facets- reflections - of what it is to be human, and you can not JUST watch, but celebrate being human along WITH the characters - it's quite powerful to see the wide margins engaged here on the full wardrobe of event phenomena a human being can explicate in the time one is alive to witness what they can...
PRECIOUS moments in this film - will leave your cup overflowing... DELICATE the line is between tragedy and - no - not comic - but between tragedy and what REALLY IS the common denominator experience one can expect in this life on this planet - and it's NOT ALL BAD...
it's NOT ALL BAD
I'm going back to the piano scene.
I am TEMPTED to say- KEEP YOUR EYE ON THAT RED BALL
no spoiler at ALL - really- no one in their right mind would zoom in on that feature of this production - but - it's not ABOUT whether you can follow the red ball or not - what it IS ABOUT IS - that as human beings - we even dare to see AND ACTUALLY DO entertain ourselves with such sleight of hand, even when the hand is not so sleight.
This movie could have easily been called Sleight of Hand
But I only mean that in regards to how you will be magically swept away into such realistic characters without flaw in acting/presentation, only by being human.
I pulled my review to edit it a third time.
I JUST finished the Piano scene - all of 30 seconds since I wrote last
My thoughts were- hopefully this movie made a debut at Sundance ?
and I see it did
This is just an amazing piece of cinema here.
SO many pivotal moments that will leave you engulfed in all of humanity.
REAL NICE WORK - WATCH IT
Meru (2015)
A must see
This cinematic/documentary is PROBABLY the best mountain climbing movie/documentary I have had pleasure to come across.
The stories are real- the characters are real- the scenery is off the charts beautiful.
This movie will have you exploring the human potential - and it's not your typical 'I climbed Everest - check out the photo of me at the summit- I'm better than you' message.
In fact, it's not that message at all- even though this team is pushing first summit - each one of the team members has a different drive to accomplish this impossible task.
I will not comment on success or failure - but this movie is not about either it is about the reach for the summit
I HIGHLY recommend taking the time to watch this one.
I recall some tear jerker from the 1970's 'The Other Side of the Mountain' - while I do not recall details - There IS another side of the mountain with this movie.
Hats off to the director, writers - all who helped film it - the scenery is simply breathtaking.
This is NOT a mountain anyone has climbed before with success.
When you see what they are up against - your head will spin in bewilderment that ANYONE would or COULD seek to hit summit.
This movie is not about altitude - this movie is about fortitude.
WATCH IT- you WILL celebrate the full potential of humanity.
In fact- I had to add one more comment here
I must say that this movie will have you celebrating the AWE of this planet we live on - in ways- no other cinematic production has to date.
Considering when people DO climb- let's face it - they ARE reaching OUT of this world - and this movie - REACHES TOWARDS that which is OUT of this world and yet in it.
Simply TOPS
No Escape (2015)
This must be what it was like when Mossadegh was removed
Looking back at when United States CIA removed Mossadegh in 1954 in Iran, and looking at the recently declassified AND reconstructed documents from Allen Dulles - you know, notes on a coup ?
It is quite similar to what we have in this movie
You have private energy corporations putting their profit margins first at the expense of human beings.
This movie - unfortunately uses children to manipulate us, and I think the director and writer made a poor choice in doing so.
The casting with Wilson is questionable, considering he is near a character actor who is famous for his 'inappropriate' thing to say at the most appropriate time, which gets old after one too many years on the playing field. I'm glad to see Owen taking up a new kind of role, but there is unfortunately one place, perhaps you will observe it he couldn't resist trying to be the clown and it really detracts from the entire movie.
Looking on the bright side ? At least Ben Affleck WASN'T in this movie.
Motto? Don't go to foreign countries and cheat the people out of their water supplies, they will get quite angry and when their families are pushed to the wall for survival ? they probably will start taking shots at the corporations that caused such perturbations to said local natives.
I'd skip this one, and just go read the recently reconstructed declassified documents showing Allen Dulles's tactics on staging fake riots, fake protests, fake newspaper articles attacking Mossadegh, in fact, it's pretty amazing at what Dulles managed TO do in Iran in 1954, can only make one wonder what a mouthpiece like Fox News in the right hands could to these days- speaking of corporations that exploit people.
No Escape (1994)
Seems my initial review was removed
I have upgraded my review on ONE line alone RAISINS ? Eh - watch this movie if you are happy with paying your water bill Don't watch this movie if you are happy with paying your water bill Watch this movie if you are UNHAPPY paying your water bill Don't watch this movie if you are UNHAPPY paying your water bill If you want to see 100% of Langley's funding go to to the Unites States Department of Justice vote this comment up If not ? Don't watch the movie
Says it doesn't contain enough lines
One more line
Two more lines
Little Odessa (1994)
Acting is over the top real - a must watch
I might not have much to say for the story line But that doesn't matter
Just watch this movie
You will be captivated from the first moment -
I am TEMPTED to say these can't be actors it's so real :)
Really- it's so well done
Forget the story focus on the acting Simply TOPS
I've not witnessed a cinematic production as this in a long time again NOT the story But HOW it's presented TOP OF THE LINE HERE
- the acting is SO good I don't even WANT to know the actors names ONLY for the characters the play
Beats ALL of Gene Hackman movies in one single blow Sorry Gene
- well-
actually - no I'm not sorry Gene
Everest (2015)
Why do people do this?
I just don't understand.
First people willfully put their lives at risk- pushing it further and further and then when something happens? you are supposed to say?
"real bright idea jackass, why not descend into a volcano next?"
People place their lives in danger repeatedly trying to climb Everest and when something goes wrong? They act like the 'mean ole mountain got em', no, more like that jackass who decided to place their life in danger for bragging rights is the culprit.
Climbing Everest ties into self-esteem I suppose.
I just don't get it.
Who NEEDS to say they climbed Everest ?
In general, Vegans will tell you they are a Vegan before anything else
"Hi, I'm Bob, and I'm a Vegan"
you never hear
"Hi, I'm Larry, I eat pork, and chicken but not beef"
Usually people just HAVE to tell you they are taking Yoga lessons too
Everest isn't too far behind Yoga lessons.
Columbo: Dagger of the Mind (1972)
The Music REALLY sets this one apart
In few other words I can find disparate This episode of Columbo is DIFFERENT from the rest WATCH and you will see from the ENTRY Music that will have you wondering WHO SCORED THIS ? to the expected complexities of JUST HOW yet ANOTHER murder has identifiable social causal factors really this episode is unique Of course- I can say something unique of all but ONE episode ENJOY - music sets THIS scene more than anything else to me forget a clever CIA assassination THIS episode BEATS the Iranian regime change.
Strangely- they never DID do an episode where Columbo figured out who killed Mossadegh.
Well he WAS just out to his house - to where he died in 1967 so sad a man who wanted a TRUE democracy for Iran and Allen Dulles said- NO F DULLES AND THE CIA and the horse they rode in on DOWN WITH LANGLEY LET THE ENTIRE FACILITY CRISP IN - oh never mind.
