Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024)
This is the Bad Boys I remember
I was a little disappointed with the last outing of Bad Boys, but this one is back to the Bad Boys we love. Within the first 10 minutes, you already know this is going to be a wild ride. Those first 10 minutes will have you laughing and wanting more. I love how they handled Marcus this time round, he got his mojo back and was definitely funnier of the two this time round.
Great plot to keep the Captain involved, some incredible action and the one liners hit their mark. I won't give too much away, but man we need to see more of Reggie next time, he almost stole the show.
Bad Boys will return.....
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (2024)
Doing The Neutron Dance
This could have gone either way, cringe worthy or the 80's nostalgia hit we've been waiting for. Thank goodness its the later. Everything from the soundtrack to the one liners that actually hit the mark, this was the new Beverley Hills Cop we didn't know we even wanted. When you can remind the fans why you fell in love with Axel and gang all those years ago, smart humour, great action, great story you'll be screaming for more. Looks like this could be the beginning of a new series of movies, lets hope we get some more. This could have gone to theatres and done quite well, but I get why they took the safe road with streaming.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 10: The Passenger (2020)
WOW felt like a movie budget was spent on this
The family loved this episode, we loved the references and the comedy in this. Sure it didn't advance the story that much, but who cares, this is classic Star Wars.
So grateful to be watching this series and getting my Star Wars fix.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019)
Perfect Finish to the Trilogy
Yes I'm over 40, male, and I cried. I've taken my kids to all 3 movies, and we've loved all of them. I must admit, I was nervous going in after watching the diabolical Wreck it Ralph 2. Was this 2nd sequel going to finish on a high?
Absolutely, it didn't let me down. It had heart, it had a great story and an epic finish.
Dreamworks, you've out done pixar on this one, well done!
