Isekai ojisan (2022)
Exactly my kind of anime!
This is just brilliant fun through and through. Uncle is an awesome character, the stories are fun and filled with comedy. It's a completely lighthearted with some elements of harem anime as uncle does have a following of 3 girls in the other world.
I can't get into too many serious anime's like AoT, I like them but they require more investment into understanding the complex story lines. So I love these anime's, easily bingeable. It's in line with anime's like One Punch Man, The way of the Househusband, The Devil is a part timer. Very easy to watch, no need to invest too much grey matter to enjoy it. Superb!
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Brilliant movie and perfect send off for Harold Ramis
This movie was so nostalgic and really fun to watch. Being a fan of the original I was concerned that a much younger cast would just make this one of those teeny bop kids movie remakes but far from it, the cast were superb, the younger cast members impressing more so than the adults.
Though the female ghostbusters movie was slated as a terrible follow on, it had its funny moments plus it needn't have been associated with the ghostbusters franchise and instead a standalone comedy ghost film.
Afterlife is so reminiscent of the originals, it's freaky.
