Halloween Kills (2021)
He Just Killin'
Summary of movie: Michael Myers (oh no, scary mask) appears of Halloween, kills every likeable couple in the movie, commits a heinous crime - murders a charismatic gay duo, looks out the window at *drumroll* HIMSELF, kills some more, then gets pissed on and curb stomped by the whole city.... gets up 'cause he's invincible and goes to kill some more. Roll the credits, great movie.
It (2017)
Cute Movie
Not very scary, per say, but not bad. It (pun intended) is a nice movie, it's spooky at most but not very atmospheric. I just wanted the girl to be with the fat kid, that's all. But no, choose the main character lady, because - boohoo his brother died and your dad doesn't love you.
Would watch again on Halloween.

I'm Sorry
I love Tim Burton movies, I can't help it. I want to deeply apologize. I know, I know. This movie really has an unexpected twist at the end, which was a twist at the end of the movie that I did not, in fact, expect. Another apology - Johnny Depp is hot. I will no longer hide behind a mask of indifference. This is a good movie.
Beetlejuice (1988)
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
One of my favourite movies of all time. It's a Halloween classic. Spooky, funny and very rewatchable. I am waiting for that moment when I forget this movie again and get to rewatch it. Beetlejuice is a creativity booster, an inspirational, in an artistic sense, film. The sets, the wardrobe, the props - everything inspired me as a kid and made me love those dark-romance, Tim Burton motives.
The Shining (1980)
Nice
First time watching The Shining on Halloween eve was amazing. Jack Nicholson is a spectacular actor, whom just gazing upon can send chills down your spine. And, controversially, Shelley Duvall is really good in this movie as well. Her portrayal of a submissive, always-smiling country wife is fitting and chilling at the same time. It isn't always about amazing techiques and elaborate acting, sometimes the simpler - the better. In this case, Wendy contrasts Jack very well. It's like when Jack White picked Meg White to play drums in The White Stripes, because the child-like easy drums were authentic and gave a certain recognizable style. The complicated, amazing guitar riffs melt with the simple, straight-forward drumming. So, to me, the casting was good, the plot was nice and Halloween was saved.
The Big Lebowski (1998)
Watching Good Movies
I, in my many years of life, have never seen this movie up until recently. In short - understood nothing but liked it very much.
I'm sure there is a deeper meaning to The Big Lebowski, however I cannot figure it out because my braincells have been rotting away due to years of watching subpar movies and such. This movie repaired my nervous brain endings. It's funny, it's engaging, it's sad, it's a good movie.
Foxcatcher (2014)
Steve Carrell
Very nice movie. I would recommend.
This is a long movie, though it doesn't feel that way. My first time watching Steve Carell in a serious, non-comedy type role and... he is amazing! Didn't think it would work at first, but a good actor is a good actor. The same could be said about Channing Tatum, who really embodied a wrestling champion. Don't really know why he was depressed half the movie, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I found the movie to be more sad than motivating.
