The Gray Man (2022)
Camera moving is brilliant
Fighting scenes are great, the plane crash is extravagant, can't remember when was the last time I watch such thing, Chris is funny as usual, like to see Ana on scene. Some lines are well written, funny and ironic.
Constantine (2014)
Still waiting more seasons
Cannot believe why they cut this show. After first seasob, there were rumors of more seasons coming, then it just disappeared.... I like how Matt performed, stories were will well designed, watched it a lot times, still hoping one day they gonna bring it back.
The Croods: A New Age (2020)
Better than most of Disney, delightful.
It doesn't have a hard drop of "this is the time we need the main actor to hit to the bottom and make the audiences cry" that kind, no pure evil, they all good just have different 'selfish' thoughts. Quite delightful to watch.
Okuotoko (2018)
So underrated
It's a good "WHAT IF" movie, watched again after several years, it could give a different feeling.
I guess for Japanese metaphorical movies, it would be easy if the audience speaks the language or understand the culture a bit, also the transition takes a big part. In this author's books, name of the characters even carry meanings. When it translates to Chinese it sort of still make sense because of the word characters are about the same, but when translation to other alphabetical words, the meaning could be gone.
Tenet (2020)
Christopher Nolan has continuing bring thinky movies
Absolutely one of my favorite director. Definitely watched multiple times. Wish where I live would reonline in theater again. I love the director always make movies sophisticated. Also soundtrack is very well matched. Hope Netflix can bring all his movie online. I would love to just turn on all the time on repeat mode.
WandaVision (2021)
Up and Down, Up and Down
First were very funny sitcom, very chill and relax to watch them. Then it changed back to Avangers style. At the last it made me cry too much.
I can't stop asking that exactly how many times they want Vision to be dead, it's really heartbreaking!!! "Who knows what I will become next" COME BACK VISION!!!
Glad it's only 9 episodes, I can't stop drawn myself if it's like a normal American season of 24 episodes.
Twilight (2008)
After 10 years, still think it's good.
Well, I kinda get it why the score isn't high enough, it's a bit unfair for people who never read the books, it's lines weren't matched, and there were a lot details only for people who had read all books to get. but it got the most covered.
Nowadays with CGI stuff, movies can be glorious, but easy to forget. Compared with twilight, even the CGI and make up weren't that good(especially first 2),still can real get into head, almost impossible to forget. Soundtrack was well paired, the order of scenes made it very dramatic than books, but the communication is less touching than books.
It is hard to generate a book into a 2 hours movie, but still It would better if the first 2 were longer, get some detailed level of all the characters.
