John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise (2021)
Highly enjoyable and very intriguing
I recently found this and was quite impressed with it and the level of research put into John Wayne Gacy.
Carlito's Way (1993)
Pacino
Arguably pacinos best performance and a very entertaining and interesting film.
Diabolik (1968)
A fun sexy 60's film
This film is almost like a bond movie made into a superhero. It's definitely a sixtys film but unlike alot of the films based on comics in that era though this film takes a more...serious take on the era. Unlike batman which was campy and debatably bad. This film is more...hard edge and you can tell. Theres no real cheesy one liners or way out there plots. Its ,as i said earlier, more like a bond film.
Ging chaat goo si (1985)
Classic
One word classic. Wether its Jackie Chans awesome performance (in both his acting and stunts, this films got easily one of Chans best stunts) this film has it all
Opera (1987)
Easily my favourite
This is easily my favourite of all of argentos films. Its got some if the most unique kills in his career and is extremely errie
Suspiria (2018)
Ugh
As a big admirer of Argentos original i was very skeptical of this. After seeing it i was not disappointed..its as horizon as I thought itd be
Friday the 13th (1980)
Eh
Ill admit i still dont like the series but as the years go by my thoughts on the first have softened. Its got a great performance from patsy and the effects from Tom Savini are fantastic. But other then that it is nothing more then a slasher film
The Fly (1986)
Arguably one of the greatest remakes
This & Invasion of the body snatchers are arguably two of the best remakes of all time(coincidently Jeff Goldblooms in both) the effects in this film are absolutely amazing. Especially the transformation make up for Seth
Dawn of the Dead (1978)
A pure classic
Like the first before it this film is a classic. It definitely ups the anti for the gore and is fantastic.
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989)
How can you not like this
Sure its a "stoner" film but its still a hugely entertaining one
The Usual Suspects (1995)
25 years later and i still get chills
25 years later im still blown away by the twost even if i know it
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)
Best of the sequels
This and New Nightmare are the best sequels in this series. The rest are inferior especially #2
The Shining (1980)
It's definitely not the book
Sure it makes some...interesting changes to the stiry but not enough to stop this from being a classic horror
South Park (1997)
Simpsons x10
If simpsons was considered "dirty" at its time then southpark takes it and cranks it to 11. The shows got a great satirical humour thats not afraid to attack controversial subjects. From if Tom Cruise is gay all the way to red heads(gingers) dont have souls this shows got it all. And unlike alot of shows that get stail as it goes on southpark surprisingly gets better
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)
He was like a god walking amongst mere mortals
Lets be honest Ron Burgendy is probably the best character Will Ferrell has ever created and he totally makes him great. The supporting cast is okay but in all hobesty this is Ferrells movie
The Boys (2019)
If the first episode doesn't hook you then idk
If after the first episode you're not hooked then i dont think youll like the series. I on the other hand was hooked the moment i finished e1
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
The film that started slashers
It and maybe Halloween where the proto types to all slashers that followed
City Confidential (1998)
Snore
Ill admit Paul Winfeild is an entertaining narrator(till he passed away) and the replacements kind of worked(Danny Glover was probably the best) but it didnt save the series from being boring for about 30 mins before it got entertaining
Cold Case Files (1999)
Bill Curtis
Bill Curtis sells this show. Its already entertaining with all the insight into forensics but with Bills narration its double fun
American Justice (1992)
Fantastic series
An engaging and entertaining true crime/law show. Its especially entertaining with Bill Kurtis narrating
Ransom (1996)
Great film. Only one flaw
Great film and is suspenseful. Theres only ONE PROBLEM Mel Gibson and Gary Senus are miss cast. Now by mis cast i mean that Garry should have been more in the role Mel Gibson was and vice versa. Other then that the films good. I thought the actors delivered(even if they where mis cast) the story was entertaining and some what suspenseful. Not edge of your seat suspense but enough to keep you entertained. But tge mis casting of the actors makes it really weird experience
Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Entertaining and easy to see why its a favourite
A very entertaining entry into the series(Mel and Danny are great as usual) that Has a good story(south africian diplomats use their status to import drugs and cash to to US) and EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING performance by Joe pesci. Id often say this is his best performance next to his performance as Tommy in goodfellas. Its easy to see how this films often considered one of the best in the series and also often ranked as a fan favourite
The Sopranos (1999)
One of the greatest
Next to breaking bad id argue this is one of the greatest crime dramas of all time
The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Entertaining
Its got a bit of a confusing plot(think Bourne Identity before Bourne Identity) in that when the big reveal comes it seams to do a 180 after. But the action is entertaining and Genna Davis and Samuel L Jackson have good enough chemistry to make you wanna sit theough its confusing abd some what long plot
Hollow Man (2000)
Effects: stellar.story and everything else...
The chi in this film is great(almost on par with T2 s T1000 effects) its just a shame the story is... mediocre at best. Its basically an updated Fly, invisible man type story
