Lion (2016)
WOOOOW!!!!
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FILM!!! Oh my god the ending had me in tears. Tho the movie was majorly about saorr's story i couldn't stop feeling bad for all the homeless kids or kids who have no one with them in this world. How horrible it must be for them to grow up injured in a cruel world. This movie is how you tell a story. It motivated me to do something for the homeless kids in the future. I hope I can get big enough in life to do something for them, the homeless kids.
And one thing about the kid, sunny pawar playing young saroo. He is an absolute gem, he made the film so captivating since the beginning. He totally deserves awards for his ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL AND EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE in the movie. Best wishes for his future.
The Crown: War (2020)
Felt like something was missing
As an ending of a season the final episode should've been bit more intense and stronger. A bit more open insight into their Charles and Diana's relationship from both perspective. Elizabeth the second is a horrible person to treat Charles, her OWN SON and Diana like that. She truly is a monster.
Sex Education (2019)
Worthless
With this title, the writers had a great opportunity to come up with something interesting and worth watching. But the show is completely stupid and at worst, it really is a waste of time.
The Society (2019)
Judging the plot, I was expecting something different.
I was disappointed at the end. The entire show could've been better.
I Am Not Okay with This (2020)
I don't just want a season 2, I NEED to see the 2nd season.
Fun and loving would be great to describe how this show was. It was what you would expect from a show or movie: To feel more lighthearted and warm. But I was extremely disappointed to know this show, despite having such a great potential was cancelled because netflix didn't think the "expense" was worh shooting for. Really, netflix? A billion dollar company- refusing to see the greater profit in the long run? She had so many unsolved questions to solve. What kind of a father she had? Her relationship? What exactly are her powers? The man in the shadow? So much to answer! Their relationship was so cute. Anyway, I enjoyed and loved the show.
Paddington (2014)
How sweet!
It's so sweet. Like what you would want from a movie. To feel lighter and better after it finishes. Heartwarming.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
Season 1 was better.
Season 2 is really good. But season 1 was much more intense and thrilling. The makers can carry this on for as long as possible since it's not a storyline concerned show. Make it at least 20.
Castlevania (2017)
I am just BLOWN! Deserves much more seasons! At least make it 20.
This is one of the best series Netflix has ever made and probably will ever make. It just blew my mind.
Why is Netflix taking so long! The animation in this is series is just way too good! I mean the script, the graphics, some of the lines (e.g. This isn't a bar fight. Have some class.), the combination of all the greatest things, I am completely in love with it. Just wow! 3 seasons till now still seems too less. And not to forget that it had only 4 episodes in season 1. Like how? Netflix should never stop making this. At least until I die. Dracula, his wrath, his love for Lisa, Lisa's kindness and being way ahead of her time, I cannot stop myself from loving this more and more.
Thirteen (2003)
A plausibly written movie with trauma factor.
When you write a movie representing abusive relationship and parents with no actual knowledge or love for parenting, you should let yourself be true to the story and let the story lead you and then the story is going to hit the walls. This movie shows a lot of sensitive topics and the story was believably written because trauma isn't something to be romanticized, it'll show disgusting things that happen to the main character.
WandaVision (2021)
A good show
A great show. It was fun, thrilling and above all well written.
Enola Holmes (2020)
Millie had an innocent charm throughout!
It's a story about Enola Holmes. And it was so much worth watching. A great entertainer for a child below the age of 16. And also adults shouldn't mind watching this. Millie played the role like there was some profound decency and fun in Millie as Enola. It's a treat to watch Millie Bobby Brown on-screen. She made the role really fun to watch. It'd be a great entertainer watch this with kids. I had to rate it 10 because the average rating needs to be higher than 6.7 . And one more thing is that it's a story about Enola Holmes, not about Sherlock Holmes, so expecting the same amount of thrill what we got from watching Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock wouldn't be appropriate.
Hotaru no haka (1988)
The feeling is not a good one but still worth the watch!
There are movies we feel good or happy to recommend to people. For some people, they have some production companies they would feel happy to recommend to people. Studio Ghibli is such a production company for me. I'd recommend to people watch movies made by this production company (although I haven't watched all of them) but I have a gut feeling for that. You should watch this film, 'Grave of the Fireflies'.
'Grave of the Fireflies' left me into tears when the little sister, Setsulo died. The life the boy had wasn't a good one, it was depressing that he had a bad teenage due to the war (that Japan lost eventually). Movies from Ghibli are kept simple, the thoughts are projected straight forward and in a very easily understandable way. They are very good to make a curve of emotions for the viewers.
The Book of Life (2014)
It's beautiful, colorful, vibrant and above all Magnificent! You should definitely watch this and learn from it.
"Write your own story. Be courageous with a pure heart."
What a beautiful movie it is! I enjoyed it, I loved it, I was completely entertained and was also in the process of learning throughout. It has quite a few beautiful songs, they, some kind of were magical!
Dil Bechara (2020)
I am in tears! I'm deep into mixed-emotional-state!
"Tum na huye mere toh kya
Hmm tum na huye Mere toh kya
Main tumhara, main tumhara
Main tumhara rahaa
Mere chandaa
Main tumhara sitars rahaa..."
It's a sad(yet peaceful) feeling that love always finds its way. This has been a soul-soothing-movie to me. The songs, the love, the *easy-ness* of this movie, it's so calm and loving. Love is one of those feelings that make even the sad side of the story worth it. Bad situations keep happening, life is never fair, still love can make the way. Dil bechara, it's a pleasant (yet helplessly unsatisfied) movie. Wish I could watch it in the theatre. The songs, they are so beautiful! Ummah! I love 'Main tumhara raha'. It's pretty good.
Sushant Singh(hope he rests in peace) did a quite good job and so did Sanjana Sanghi. They both really performed very well and I loved it. The director, writer (it's an adoption from the famous novel 'the fault in our stars'), the presentation, it's quite soothing. It's sad that there won't be any more from Sushant. May Allah be kind upon him.
{ If anyone is thinking whether they should watch it or not, I suggest you to watch it(if you're an adult, because there's a tiny adult conversation) }
Sing (2016)
I'm absolutely entertained!
This is way too better than what I expected it to be. It's so awesome.
I just looooooved this film. The *dream* of an animal to run a successful theater just turned out to be working for them. Probably couldn't ask for better presentation. I doubt if I have seen character cuter than Meena(and Vanellope). Meena is just a too adorable character to handle. And I'm absolutely entertained by this animation.
Onward (2020)
A brilliant entertainer of 2020!
I just loooved the movie!
It's cute, adventurous, brilliantly written and overall a really good entertaining film! Having no father, Ian and Barley managed to have a lovely bond of siblings! All the things Ian desired to do with his father, he did them with his elder brother and Barley is friend who can be entertaining, when you arr feeling low-key tired! Regardless of your age, you love or do not love your father, just watch this movie. It's going entertain you a lot!
Anastasia (1997)
It's beautiful! Watch it.
"Nothing's gonna tear us apart!"
Well, I thought it was a fictional movie based on some scientific event just like 'April and the Extraordinary World' (cuz I didn't watch the trailer before watching the movie, it kinda kills the vibe or that thrill).
Not to mention that, it turns out to be a lovely film! Anastasia, she is too cute and lovely! The story is lovely and entertaining! A good movie you can watch anytime, (perhaps) precisely when you feel lonely. And they found out their lives, it's really sweet. The fact that this film was made almost 23 years ago, amazes me. Such a beautiful, lovely movie that has a soul of its own! I completely loved and enjoyed this! Probably will rewatch in the further future (when I'll forget the most of it).
Up (2009)
A cute, adventurous yet sad film!
Pixar didn't disappoint me after all! They just made is so cute, 'not-so-brain-stimulating', overall family entertainer film! Ellie and Russell were too cute! Anyone should be able to watch it with their family, friends or whoever he wishes! A quality entertaining movie after all!
Koto no ha no niwa (2013)
Emotion-centric :)
First of all, a huge percentage of my rating is because of those beautiful scenarios. They were so pleasent to watch.
Now, the discussion on script. Well, the story holds the growing feeling of a teenager who just got into his puberty and started to have feelings of love. Not a "too good" character but was somehow okay, in my opinion. Maybe the girl deserved someone better at the end. Well, because of being of an anime fan, I could feel the love and those emotions. Could have been more and better.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019)
The end had me so emotional that I had a dry cry for a short while.
A must watch movie-series.
A beautiful end to a beautiful movie series (unless they make prequels like how did the dragons get to come out of that hidden world). Anyway the ending was mature and lovely. I was so emotional. Even if you ain't a child or a teenager or a young adult, you can still watch it without a second thought. Hiccup, a guy with mixed fortunes came through a beautiful journey. An absolute family entertainer.
Dracula, his wrath, his love for Lisa, Lisa's kindness and being way ahead of her time, I cannot stop myself from loving this more and more.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014)
A completely family entertainer!
Well, my actual rating rating would be 9/10. But the average rating didn't seem to do justice, so it's a 10.
The 'How to Train Your Dragon' movie series feels like watching a Disney animated entertainer like Zootopia or Moana or Frozen. Movies that refreshes the hope, love and positivity held within. A man of any age can watch this as long as they have a child in their heart, beneath their flesh. DreamWorks has impressed me this time also. They have made also other great movies I have watched, innocence shown in a beautiful way. They bring positive relaxation in the mind. Hiccup always found what he had within his heart, at the end at least.
Constantine: City of Demons (2018)
Constantine eventually did a quite good job.
The concepts and the delectation was good. Truth be told, I don't have great feelings for this but it's worth the watch. It was thrilling, creating and above all deserves a watch.
Primal: Tales of Savagery (2019)
Creative interpretation!
The tales of savagery , to be more specific, 'Hunt or be hunted' were thrilling. Well, the idea of humans and dinosaur or nature sharing a bond of friendship to a limited extent, was portrayed.
Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix (2007)
A typical Ben 10 episodes with longer duration.
A well entertaining movie just like the episodes of Ben 10. Like other fictions I also felt a plot hole in it. Family entertainer.
