Theres not much to complain about with the Pirates of the Caribbean. I know that if I were involved with this film, I would be very proud of the final product. The costumes and make-up should deserve Oscar recognition along with Johnny Depps performance which has always been overlooked by Hollywood. The only complaint I have is that they should have trimmed about 10 minutes from it as I thought some scenes weren't necessary and seemed to only drag the movie down. Its refreshing to see that Disney can still make a good movie without relying on cute animals and a Phil Collins soundtrack.

Every bad thing you've heard about this movie is true so I wont waste your time repeating the same things. I also felt this movie was one big advertisement..did you know Martha Stewart is even listed in the end credits because for some unknown reason, she is seen twice on a television. And what was the purpose for Micheal Jacksons cameo? No one in the audience laughed, so if it was meant to be funny it didn't work. I think if they make a Men in Black III it should go straight to video. 5/10

That pretty much says it all. But there are a few things I must say about this movie before I watch it for the second time tonight. Some of these reviews are misleading,for instance, there is a way to kill the zombies. And I have to tell you, the gore is just not gory if you've ever watched those "Life in the E.R." programs on cable. The zombies just don't scare me, look at the back of the DVD, you'll see what I mean. And if you've never watched the movie before but decide to buy the DVD, don't look at the chapter list inside because Anchor Bay was nice enough to give away a very important scene near the end. Now having said that, I'm going to watch it again. Why? Because it was still a fun movie to watch! The acting was by far the best you'll ever see in a zombie film and I should say the same about the writing. Yea, the zombies could have looked a little more like zombies, but the movie carries enough suspense to carry you to the fun yet predictable end.7/10
