Mikey and Yura are good, the story flows but not that far-fetched (Original where? Maybe the disenchanted flair on the romantic movie genre but still nothing will stay of it in a decade, and honestly really just makes me want to watch Pretty Woman again).

You do feel for Ani a bit towards the end, but by then your ears are in such suffering you actually just feel for yourself. Baker couldn't even give us an otherwise quiet scene in a plane without a screaming child in full lungs as next passenger brrrrrr.

And could any living adult soul in this planet actually fall in love with Vanya? From that utmost implausible premise... the movie didn't take off for me.

Don't understand the hype nor see the awards potential anywhere ... in any case, in this Movie World of ours, to each his own :)
