The initial episode talks about how CBC TV has all this great music captured over the last 60 years in their vaults and how this show will bring it back into the light. And then they do what so often CBC does: they talk about it instead of actually playing it. There is no question that they have some great video there, but it is absolutely ruined by being chopped up into bites with way too much commentary.
