Zoey (Claudia Doumit) texts Dylan (Blake Scott Lewis). These two high school friends reunite for the day after years of estrangement.
For most of this movie, I kept waiting for the estrangement to be revealed. During the last half hour, the two of them start having the deeper discussion. I'm still not sure about the estrangement revelation. They do dig deeper, but I don't see how they didn't deal with some of these issues before. On the one hand, he claims that they drifted apart because she didn't want to hear about all his problems. On the other hand, he has so many issues that she has no knowledge. I question what kinds of problems he was dumping on her which drove her away. It seems like this story needed a few more passes to find a definitive point of separation for the two friends.
