It was because of the unexpected success (and cult status) of the first film A Christmas Prince that Netflix decided to not only film a sequel, but release a slew of similar Christmas-themed romantic comedies.

Goofs
As the "Waltz of the Flowers" by Tchaikovsky sounds at the wedding ball, there's a string quartet "playing". The part of that piece that is being played is performed by an orchestra, specially the wind section, French horns, clarinets, oboes, piccolos, trumpets, bassoons and trombones.

If you expect it to be exactly what it is... then you won't be disappointed.

Sure it had a soap opera plot, but I knew exactly what I was asking for when I started watching this movie. Of course it's now an amazing, meaningful Oscar-winning movie, but I don't understand how people even expect that. I mean did you read the title?

As a cute, typical, royal romance and Christmas movie, I think it delivers. Yeah it's cheesy, but of course it is! I watched the first one and it's the same thing! I think it's a charming, cheesy, Christmas romance. That's what I wanted to watch when I started the movie, and that's what I got!

NOT DISAPPOINTED. And Rose McIver is adorable!
