This is not your typical japanese anime (except maybe for a few ecchi moments). But I got to say...it was quite enjoyable to watch this once a week.
If you have some spare time and do not have anything else to watch, then you can definitely take a look at this. Words can not describe how silly this is, but somehow you just keep coming back to it.
The only thing that bothered a lot of viewers is that the catch phrase of the main character was mentioned too often, but that did not bother me.
Have fun watching!

Where do I start, this promises to be an ecchi and then disappoints after the first few episodes, then a few episodes later there is a bit more. So if you watch it for the ecchi you won't get much.
This is really a gladiator movie with a twist, there are these 'therianthropes' that are part human part beast and can transform at will. They are the gladiators. Owned by large corporations that use them for amusement and gamble on them to gain power. It's not clear how they came into being, although the featured 'therianthrope' seems to be the original. But that's about all we learn about them, except that they are created through genetic manipulation.
There is a lot of action, but it can get boring in between, also there is a narrator that explains the attributes of the various beasts the 'therianthropes' represents, it is slightly interesting (hope they didn't get their info from wikipedia) but has little relevance to the action, I think it is just some sort of filler.
The fights were too drawn out and they kept changing what seemed the obvious outcome, it was like they had twists just to have twists, instead of actually going somewhere.
And the last episode was disappointing, I certainly didn't like it. and could/should have ended differently.
The whole thing seemed rushed after the third episode.

This was my first animal/ human hybrid anime series, and my expectations were admittedly set low for it. Was I ever surprised! The story is totally fantastic and implausible but it works as an engine for roller-coaster action sequences, scantily-clad therianthropes, and an ecchi-variety relationship between two of the protagonists. I enjoyed it and hope another season will be done. I'm giving it 9 out of ten stars because I enjoyed it and found myself cheering for the character Hitomi/ Ratel, and her pack of friends.

Enjoyed at first but soon it got serious I don't expect this coming.
Just the orgin of beasts is not clear(they say something but it not relatable ) Fight scene is good with some good humar.
Also show the live can be deadly for you.
You got surprise every time like first scene you thing poor girl and second scene what a girl the transition just blow you away.
But these is first season second season is planned also you got biggest cliff-hanger at the end. Even show what is coming on the last scene of next season highlight.

Killing Bites, while violent, is an excellent anime. Of course they ended with a cliffhanger. Why wouldn't you? There is some "fan service", but it doesn't get too carried away like many other anime do. The violence is over the top, but they're special, altered human beings, made just for that, so it makes sense, I guess. The main star is fun, but she pretty much thinks "kill 'em" is the answer to everything. The guy who gets roped into helping her comes into his own as the story unfolds and friendships and rivalry's develop nicely. I certainly hope they give us a second season. At the very least it'll solve the cliffhanger and we'll get to see where all of the characters have "jumped" to, since the second season will have moved on to a special place just for the Therianthropes to live and battle in.
