Shortly after principal photography, Panama City, where all filming took place, was devastated by a direct hit from Hurricane Michael, a Category 5 storm. All locations were therefore destroyed making any re-shoots impossible.
Several "miracles" occurred around the production. When budget ran short, just enough funds would appear seemingly from nowhere at times. Weather was perfect each day of the shoot. "Nature" cooperated on every outside shot. Only one camera was available and it never malfunctioned or failed, which would have ended production. One prominent actor had prayed for a specific role just before the exact role in Finding Grace was offered directly.
There were no constructed sets and all shoots were actual locations.
Filmed entirely in Panama City, Florida.
Being technically a "Christian" film, many Christian denominations were represented among the cast and crew: Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Non-Demoninational Christian, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, just to name a few. All worked together and saw the true Biblical principles represented in the story. There were also non-Christians involved in the production and there were missionary moments on set as the light of Christ would touch individuals.
