The show's title was once "Manifesto", but then was changed to "Manhunt: Unabomber".
First season is based on the same real life events also fictionalized in Unabomber: The True Story (1996), and that were the source material for documentaries such as The Unabomber (1998), In the Kingdom of the Unabomber (2000), The Net (2003), Hunt for the Unabomber, Hunt for the Unabomber (1998) and Unabomber: In His Own Words (2020).
