The real Fitz never met Ted Kaczynski.
The real linguistics professor who Fitz worked with was male.
The show depicts Fitz as almost immediately dismissing the theory that the Unabomber was a disgruntled mechanic. In real life, Fitz says he did not totally dismiss this idea until they were much closer to finding Kaczynski.
The ATF Agent Embry could not have been an agent for 40 years as was repeatedly stated. Federal agents have a mandatory retirement agent of 57 unless they transfer to a non-agent position.
Fitz wears a jacket in 1995 with the Philadelphia Eagles logo on it. However, the team started using this particular version of their logo a year later, in 1996.
