Towards the beginning of the film, Police Chief Kammal is watching TV, and says that Tunisia is going to pot (presumably because of the Arab Spring uprisings) and yet still beat Egypt at football. There was no international football match between the two countries around then, though there was a friendly shortly after.
The song "Mafeesh Saheb Yetsaheb" that played twice in the movie came out in 2015 while the movie is set in 2011.
