Directed by Kirk Jones (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2”), who is returning for his first feature film in eight years, “I Swear” tells the story of Tourette’s Syndrome campaigner, John Davidson. Principal photography recently wrapped in Scotland.

“I Swear” follows Davidson’s journey with Tourette’s through his troubled teens and early adulthood, having been diagnosed at 15 years old in 1980s Britain – a time when the condition was little known and entirely misunderstood.

Actor John Stamos has opened about his mental state at the time of his 2015 DUI and the series of events that led him to sobriety.

He said: “When I did get the DUI, I came home from the hospital that night,” reports Entertainment Weekly.

He told People magazine: “I sat down, I drank a bottle of wine just to forget what just happened. And I never sobered up.”

The actor, who has now been sober for eight years, said that he almost immediately had to leave home to film ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2’ following the arrest.

As per Entertainment Weekly, he did not allow himself time to process, and his drinking didn’t stop once he was on set.

“When you sober up, you have to look at the ugly truth, so you keep drinking,” he said. “So I was kind of just loosely buzzed through the shooting of that movie.

John Stamos is looking back at what led him to finally get sober.

In a new interview, the 60-year-old Full House alum reflected on his DUI in 2015 and how he immediately went home and “drank a bottle of wine” to “forget” what happened.

Closer than ever to coronation, Netflix has released the trailer for Part 1 of the sixth and final season of its hit period drama “The Crown.”

The final season of the series will span 1997-2005 with the four-episode Part One depicting the relationship between Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki) and Dodi Fayed (Khalid Abdalla) and the 1997 car crash in Paris that killed them.

John Stamos appeared on “The Howard Stern Show” to promote his new memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me,” and revealed that his alcoholism got so bad around 2015 that he actually does not remember being on set to film his role in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.” The actor appeared to forget he even booked a part in the film and was reminded the day after his 2015 arrest for driving under the influence that he had to go to Toronto, Canada, to film.

In previous interviews, Stamos has said his 2015 DUI arrest was a definitive moment in convincing him that it was time to get sober. But it didn’t happen instantly. He told Stern that after he got home from jail, he “drank another bottle of wine by myself.”

The official My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 trailer reveals Fotoula ‘Toula’ Portokalos (writer/director/actor Nia Vardalos) is keeping a promise to her late father to take the family back home and locate his old friends.

Among those reprising their roles are John Corbett as Ian Miller, Elena Kampouris as Paris Miller, Gia Carides as Nikki, Joey Fatone as Angelo, Louis Mandylor as Nick Portokalos, Lainie Kazan as Maria Portokalos, and Andrea Martin as Thiea Voula. Sadly, Michael Constantine, who played family patriarch Gus Portokalos in the first two films, passed away in August 2021.

A couple of new faces have joined the cast, including Elias Kacavas and Melina Kotselou. May 1 marks the series debut of “White House Plumbers,” the new limited series from “Veep” showrunner David Mandel that chronicles the Watergate break-in and fallout. That show airs on HBO and will stream on HBO Max. Then on May 4, the comedy “The Other Two” returns for its third season on HBO Max.

The sixth season of the animated series “Rick and Morty” will be available to stream on HBO Max starting on May 11, and in terms of library titles the “Men in Black” trilogy, the comedies “Step Brothers” and “Some Like It Hot” and Jonah Hill’s directorial debut “Mid90s” all come to HBO and HBO Max this month.

Wait a minute, you might be asking, isn’t HBO Max supposed to be “Max” now? How then, am I seeing a list of HBO Max new releases for May 2023? Well spotted, dear reader. Warner Bros. Discovery did indeed recently reveal that it would be rebranding its combined HBO Max and Discovery+ streaming service as just Max. As the company notes in its press release for May though, that change doesn’t take effect until May 23. What follows is a list of everything coming to HBO Max through May 22.

The biggest releases this month are two TV series that arrive at the beginning of May. White House Plumbers is a comedic take on the infamous Watergate scandal starring Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux. That will be followed by season 3 of The Other Two, which I personally consider the funniest show on television. Catch up now before it’s too late!

One of the biggest new releases of the month is the new limited series “White House Plumbers,” which will premiere on May 1. Starring Woody Harrelson as E. Howard Hunt and Justin Theroux as G. Gordon Liddy, the pair portray two real-life Watergate burglars and Nixon saboteurs who ended up destroying the very president they desperately wanted to serve.

Audiences at CinemaCon were treated to the first-ever trailer for “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3,” the latest chapter in the romantic comedy series about culture clashes, true love, bundt cakes and the many, many uses for Windex. The third entry picks up years after the original and follows the Portokalos family as they reunite a hop, skip and a jump away from their hometown of Chicago.

“A lot has happened since my big fat Greek wedding,” Nia Vardalos’ character says in a voice over. “My father passed away, and his last wish was for us to visit his childhood village in Greece and reconnect with our roots. So, we’re having a reunion.”

The trailer, which isn’t yet available to the public, begins as the Portokalos family packs their bags and travels overseas to find the friends and cousins (blood or otherwise) of Toula’s late father.

HBO Max will add several exciting new TV show premieres and movies to its catalog in May 2023 before being rebranded as “Max.” After launching in 2020 as the primary streaming home for Warner Bros – now Warner Bros. Discovery – titles, HBO Max is officially losing the first half of its name in a rebranding come May 23. After this point, the streaming service will be launched as Max, which will also come with some changes to subscription tiers. The time has finally arrived, How I Met Your Father fans — John Corbett will make his season 2 debut when episode 9, “The Welcome Protocol,” premieres on Tuesday, March 21, on Hulu.
