Always looking for a good story, New York City tabloid journalist Porter Wren (Adrien Brody) is asked by widow Caroline Crowley (Yvonne Strahovski) to dig into the murder of her movie director husband Simon (Campbell Scott), whose body was discovered in a sealed-off, demolished building under 20 feet of rubble. No one can figure out how Simon got there nor the cause of his death. And no one is talking.
