At the start of the second scene when Heidi's dad walks by with a basket of holiday decorations, Heidi says, "Dad, you know it's still Thanksgiving for another nine hours!" He replies, "Yeah, but my countdown to Christmas started the last week of October," which is both what Hallmark's Christmas movie lineup is called every year ("Countdown to Christmas") and about when it starts.
