An 18-episode ONA episode 0 boasting by an excellent direction (Tomoyuki Kurokawa) and a solid script.
Great care is taken with the animation, and the psychology of the characters and their motivations are highly complex.
Atmosphere is essential in Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction, as it influences the world and the characters.
However, despite the remarkable work of the staff and the quality of the animation, the character design and background are not very convincing.
Despite the announced success and the quality of the author's work (Asano Inio), it's very difficult to get attached to the future of the characters and their reactions.
Once again, I have difficulty with geometric faces (squares and triangles), proportions and "childish" characters.
Another example concerns the workings of government. We're shown how the government works, but almost everything about it is exaggerated. It's as if the author wanted to be realistic with his structure, but in the end, he overdoes it.
I don't know if I'm making myself clear. In fact, everything seems to want to be realistic, mature and developed, but in the end, we see that it's an anime. It's a weird feeling.
I'm clearly not a fan of this anime.
