David Slade was originally going to direct the film adaptation of the Coward story arc for Hunting Lane Films and Sierra-Affinity and Ed Brubaker adapting the graphic novel, but the rights lapsed.
This is Ed Brubaker's third Prime Video television series after Too Old to Die Young (2019) & Batman: Caped Crusader (2024).
