I watched this solely because it gets a 6.7 rating here. But guess what?. The movie is HORRIBLE. Let's see why...

The budget is non-existent. It appears to have been filmed with an iPhone. And not a new one either.

The acting is completely non-existent. These "performers" are just the pits. It's like some rudimentary acting class attendees who put on a show.

The direction is really poor too. Lots of really bad closeups to hide the lack of sets. The musical track is overly dramatic, like it's trying to hide how bad the movie is.

And let's talk about the special effects -- they stink! They are so bad you'll laugh out loud.

No one on earth would think this is a remotely good movie. It's bad through and through.

This is on of the best horror movie I seen in a very long time, I love it so much, and it takes a lot to impress me because I got so many good authors, and Keith Rommel's movie is so good it is outstanding, if your horror or just stellar writing making of books and moves a much watch!!

I kid you not, must see, it is so good it's hard to put it to words, just uber awesome! Step into an unknown world of strange and haunting horror! It packs such a punch, it is perfection in motion. Watch and be amazed and it not only scares it is a thinking man's type deal that is cool and in horror you don't see this to much! This should be movie of the year, and maybe of all time. Don't miss out on this haunted classic masterful master Piece! Bravo on a much excellent job done on this epic movie!

The trailers and previews of the movie are out and are like honey to bees when it comes to drawing in the horror movie genre fans. I gave it a solid 10 for the acting and production values. What makes it work is a fascinating story that keeps you on the edge of your seat not knowing what will happen next. Anyone who has read the book will be dieing to see the movie version. When the truth is finally revealed as to what made Alister into The Cursed Man, it literally makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

This is one film that is destined to become a cult classic. JD
