Gilles gets help from his estranged father, Lukas. He breaks into Salvator, but is forcefully stopped. His act is a trigger for Salvator to protect their identity and send an Alter Ego to redeem Lukas.
Lukas's failed 'redemption' brings the Alter Ego to life. Confused, she searches her way through the city. When Johanah hears that one of their saviors must be destroyed, Johanah realizes there is no time to waste.
A personal trauma suddenly resurfaces. Gilles is determined to finally find out what really happened to his childhood sweetheart Romy. His search takes him to Salvator, a private bank.
After Johanah saves her savior, she tries to convince him that she is her mother, but the savior doubts Johanah's good intentions. After a brutal confrontation within Salvator, the savior flees.
Once the savior finds Gilles, she realizes that she is none other than Romy. The trio goes into hiding at a safe house, where Romy tells them everything she knows about herself, her past and Salvator, but then Romy suddenly collapses.
Romy's condition makes the couple realize that only Johanah can help. Once Romy is better, she wants to know where she is really buried. Johanah makes a deal with the couple, but along the way an almost fatal argument arises.
When Romy survives a serious traffic accident, Johanah suspects that this is the beginning of the end. She thinks she knows her daughter's future date of death and devises a desperate plan to prevent the inevitable.
The love between Romy and Gilles blossoms. They decide to build a future together. Johanah has now fallen into the hands of Salvator and confesses everything. A core member of Salvator sees an opportunity to make her own dream come true.
