A year ago , Ricardo (Santiago Segura) and Felipe (Leo Harlem) set out with the children to camp but mistakenly left them on the train . Nowadays , Clara (Paz Vega) no longer trusts them and decides to take the children with her friend Susana (Paz Padilla) . But, they too get separated from the children , turning a vacation in theory light and calmness in an unstoppable spiral of craziness . As the train leaves, with the children but without the grown-ups , setting off a hilarious chase . Being left out of the protective environment of their parents , the lost children will enjoy several adventures , pranks and frolics , forcing adults to enter the children's cosmos , losing any trace of rational good sense .
¨A todo tren 2¨ or ¨Fast Track 2¨displays same premise as ¨A todo tren destino Asturias¨ but replacing Santiago Segura , Leo Harlem by two likeable actresses : Paz Vega , Paz Padilla . As the train they're traveling on departs before schedule while they're on the platform and leaves the unsupervised children inside , then Clara and Susana start an against-the-clock eventful chase and bewilderment trying to get onto the train before it reaches destination while the cheeky children try to avoid the train paranoid thief with cunning tricks while he attempts to rob an original manuscrypt of El Quijote and meeting again the eccentric ticket collector played by Florentino Fernández .
There are several stories all around , including typical nuttiness , antics and frolics of the children and anything else . From the episode of the mutiny on the plane to the scenes in a bus for the elderly , succeeds when it comes to staging the unpretentious and light gags that the film displays from the beginning of the film . This causes the movie to be perceived as a simple game of endless frolics , games and messes , where the action is diluted , at times , by a spirit of excessive fraternization , which avoids any off-tone . Without excessive risks or surprises compared to the first installment , unfolds its plot on the rails of a situational comedy that is quite reduced in humorous intensity . The intentionally caricatured adult roles , especially for Paz Padilla role , and the children's characters schematicized to the point of responding to excessively delimited categories show a work of convenient psychological and human credibility . Packing a fine main and support cast as the agreeable mother Clara , finely played by Paz Vega , while Paz Padilla steals the show in an extremely nutty character . Santiago Segura and Leo Harlem take again their roles as Ricardo and Felipe repeating the tics and attitudes out of any normality of their male precedents , which does not help to distance too much this second chapter from the first . The charming children give a naive, natural acting and standing out the little actress Luna Fulgencio . And adding various guest stars as Florentino Fernández , Chani Martín , Carlos Iglesias , Ramón Langa , David Fernández and Marta González de Vega who wrote as well .
It packs colorful and brilliant cinematography by cameraman Javier Salmones . As well as attractive and catching musical score by Roque Baños . The picture well produced by Santiago Segura himself , Ricardo Marco , María Luisa Gutiérrez , Axier Pérez , Ignacio Salazar-Simpson , being efficiently directed by Inés de León who takes the funny role of the bride who arrives late for her wedding . Inés delivers a cartoonist rhythm of a work that , without a doubt, will delight entire families of spectators . This attractive and fun comedy being competently written/produced by Santiago Segura . This well known actor and director has made various hit films . And has produced or directed nice and succesful family comedies , such as : ¨Padre no hay mas que uno¨ or ¨Father there is only one¨ , dealing with the good parents who attempt to keep together his highly dysfunctional family . Followed by two successful sequels titled : ¨Padre no hay más que uno 2: La llegada de la suegra¨ and ¨Padre no hay más que uno 3¨ (2022) , and adding : ¨¡A todo tren! Destino Asturias¨ and this ¨A Todo Tren 2: Sí, les ha pasado otra vez (2022)¨.
