While I enjoyed the hell out of It: Chapter 2, there were a good amount of people that didn’t care for it. A lot of the complaints came from the way the movie ended. But, it seemed like that ending was being set up over the course of the movie with all the jokes about how no one liked the endings of Bill’s books.
Well, the gang at How It Should Have Ended has released a new animated video showing us how they think the film should have ended. After poking fun at the original ending by bullying Pennywise The Clown to death, they show us an ending where Pennywise is the one that wins because it would actually be pretty easy for him!

So far, it appears as though Avengers: Endgame has proven to be one of those rare movies where most folks will overlook a myriad of plot holes and still enjoy it. Suffice it to say, thinking too hard about the flick’s time travel logic may cause your nose to bleed – especially anything involving Captain America – but, man, was it ever an unforgettable ride.
Now that pretty much everyone has had the chance to enjoy Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ latest cinematic outing, the talented people at How It Should Have Ended have assembled yet another animated video righting the wrongs of a Hollywood blockbuster – and this time, they’re taking aim at Endgame.
Embedded at the top of this article is Hishe’s fixing of various situations in ways only they can do. For the most part, I have to concede they were right in pointing out the plot holes they did,...

Here’s a fun little video from the gang over at How It Should Have Ended with their take on the animated 1992 version of Aladdin. The video pokes fun at how the live-action version (in theatres this weekend) isn’t very necessary, how the genie probably could have done a lot more good before being set free, and how things probably would have turned out fine if Aladdin had looped Jasmine into the truth sooner than later. Enjoy the video below and let us know if you’re excited about the live-action Aladdin or if you’re boycotting the whole thing on principle.

It also touches on how much women don’t need to be told to smile by men. It’s pretty funny to see. Director Travis Knight’s Bumblebee is easily the best Transformers movie ever made. While the franchise will continue, the producers have said there will be a “little more Bayham” in future films so it sounds like they didn’t really learn anything from what made Bumblebee so great.
At least we have Bumblebee, and the team at How It Should Have Ended decided to give it an alternate ending that that some of the fans might have preferred as it brings back the original Megatron and doesn’t want to acknowledge what Michael Bay ended up doing with the character.
There are a few other little amusing things the video points out as well that makes sense. But because the movie is still connected to the previous Transformers films, the creative team had their hands tied on a few things.

Next year’s Avengers: Endgame looks set to cram an overwhelming number of characters into the grand finale of Marvel’s Phase 4, but as the new video from the How It Should Have Ended YouTube channel aptly demonstrates, the team could’ve been a lot bigger.
The animation offers a continuation of the final scene from the film’s first trailer, in which Scott Lang pulls up to the Avengers HQ. After Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff buzz Ant-Man in, a whole load of new characters start showing up on their doorstep. Among the current Marvel Studios properties who join the gang are Blade, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, and Luke Cage, but it seems that Disney’s soon-to-be acquired Fox characters, including Deadpool and the X-Men, are also down for the cause. The latest episode How It Should Have Ended offers Pixar fans funny alternate way that the story for Incredibles 2 could have turned out.
Like all of their videos, they just implement common sense to certain aspects of the story that would have made things so much easier for everyone. In this instance they just let Dash and Violet actually use their powers to save the day.
Of course, an episode of Hishe wouldn’t be complete without Batman and Superman, so in this video we see them hanging out with Par kids.

I actually thought the ending for Ant-Man and The Wasp was perfect for the story that it told. I really wouldn’t have changed anything. But, the team at Hishe attempt to give us an amusing alternate ending.
This latest “How It Should Have Ended” video kinda falls flat. But, it’s still amusing and fun, especially with the Superman and Batman cafe bit at the very end. That was the best part of this latest episode.
The alternate ending points out the fact that Scott Lang, Hank Pym, Hope van Dyne and Janet van Dyne completely ignore the the big news that aliens have come down to and started causing complete chaos in New York City, and instead of helping, they are spending their time conducting quantum realm science experiments.
I guess they weren’t really concerned with what was happening with the rest of the Avengers.

With $734 million and scores of positive reviews to its name, Deadpool 2 was, without question, a runaway success for both 20th Century Fox and David Leitch. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it was the perfect sequel, if such a thing even exists.
The decision to bump off (read: fridging) Vanessa, for instance, proved incredibly divisive among moviegoers, as there are those who believe Morena Baccarin’s character was reduced to one-dimensional motivator for Wade Wilson, and nothing more.
Indeed, there’s certainly a case to be made against Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick’s script, which was written alongside Wade Wilson himself, Ryan Reynolds, soon after the original Deadpool movie launched the Merc With a Mouth into the stratosphere in terms of hype and popularity.
And it’s this criticism that’s dragged back into the limelight during CinemaSins’ latest video, one which claims to identify everything wrong with Deadpool 2.

In honor of Deadpool 2‘s digital debut (see the cheeky promo here), the good folks at How It Should Have Ended have turned their attention to the Merc’s second solo adventure for what is undoubtedly a hilarious, wonderfully meta video tribute.
And like all Hishe clips involving the superhero genre, this one ends with Wade Wilson rubbing shoulders not with Batman and Superman, but an entire posse of cinema’s greatest villains – think of Voldemort, the Joker and Thanos of Avengers: Infinity War.
Speaking of Marvel’s super-sized crossover, Infinity War is referenced numerous times in this particular tribute, as we see Deadpool travel back in time (and to another reality) where he finds Thor standing over the visibly wounded Thanos. Cue hilarity as a gleeful Wade Wilson regales Palpatine (or “Palps”) and his crooks about how he saved them from death by disintegration.

To date, I’ve kept my absolute disdain for Avengers: Infinity War separate from my news reporting as much as possible, but now seems like an opportune time to let the cat out of the bag. I’m sure that I’m in the minority on this one because, believe it or not, I’ve actually had people unfriend me on Facebook over my opinion regarding a movie. Seriously.
Now, I’m not here to write a manifesto detailing all of my issues with the film because that’d require my having to watch it for a second time, but the folks at How It Should Have Ended have done a fine job of illustrating any points I’d make.
In short, there were a myriad of ways that Thanos could’ve been defeated, several of which were laid out in the first video that highlighted a number of gaping plot holes.

It’s going on five weeks since the talented folks over at How It Should Have Ended cut together an animated sketch about one of Hollywood’s biggest tentpoles – for the record, Star Wars: The Last Jedi holds that distinction – but the Hishe team is back with a new video dedicated to Justice League, Zack Snyder and Warner’s wildly ambitious blockbuster that ultimately fell flat back in November. And boy, this ‘alternate ending’ doesn’t pull any punches.
From the off, we see the Man of Steel swoop down to visit what we can only assume to be a local school, where he’s bombarded with questions about his mustache – or lack thereof. The parody video then goes on to poke fun at Justice League‘s other quirks, including the uneven dialogue, shoddy CGI and Ciarán Hinds’ mega-villain Steppenwolf, whose all-conquering masterplan was undercut by forgettable dialogue and half-baked VFX.

The gang at How It Should Have Ended has released a new animated video that focuses on Wonder Woman. It offers us some funny alternate takes on certain scenes from the film that includes some amusing cameos. Then, of course, it gives us a take on how the film should have really ended, and it involved Wonder Woman's invisible jet. One thing is made clear, and that is that Steve Trevor didn't have to die! ...

The team at How It Should Have Ended is here with a new video that counts down the five stages of what it's like to watch a Spider-Man movie reboot. As usual, some of these are pretty spot-on, and with Homecoming dropping this week, I'm guessing a lot of you will be going through a handful of these stages yourselves when you get to check it out on Thursday night.

Now that the dust has ostensibly settled from Wolverine’s last stand, and fans the world over have lapped up the furious finale to Hugh Jackman’s saga in iconic adamantium claws, the folks over at How It Should Have Ended have trained their sights on Logan.
James Mangold’s ruddy excellent and R-rated western effectively delivered on those lofty expectations early last month, wrapping up Wolverine’s saga in a way that was both bittersweet and, ultimately, deeply satisfying to those viewers who have followed Hugh Jackman’s X-Men saga for the past 17 years. Much of that can be attributed to both Patrick Stewart and newcomer Dafne Keen, who turned in show-stopping performances as Charles Xavier and the tenacious Laura/X-23, respectively.
After spending much of Logan on the run from nefarious forces (read: Transigen and those dastardly Reavers), Wolverine’s harrowing journey takes him to North Dakota, where...

Under normal circumstances, the folks who put together the ongoing web series How It Should Have Ended offers an amusing, welcome perspective on how a popular blockbuster should have ended. Sometimes it’s based on walking through a major plot hole, other times it just points out something that doesn’t make sense. In this case though, […]

The team at How It Should Have Ended is back with a new episode, and this one focuses on James Mangold's superhero film Logan. The actual movie ends perfectly, so I was wondering what they'd do to improve on it. Prepare yourselves, because this is a weird one — even for them.
If you are curious as to why we made this, well the answer was Logan already ends pretty beautifully. When talking about flaws our biggest hang up in the film was stopping to have dinner with the family. That's the point where everything goes bad, so really that's where Logan should've put his foot down. Then Chris' cousins called him up one day saying "We just heard the Les Misérables finale in the car and were laughing about how similar it is to the end of Logan." So we watched the scene and started giggling at the possibilities.

Logan featured one of the most powerful finales of a superhero movie ever, and now the YouTube series How It Should Have Ended has taken it to create one of its finest installments yet.
Playing off of Hugh Jackman's musical theater background, the YouTube series sets the Logan finale to music from Les Miserables — and good lord, though this is a comedy YouTube series, it's surprisingly emotional.
And there's a special bonus at the end, giving people the onscreen X-Men collaboration they've been clamoring for.

Not satisfied with the theatrical conclusion? Here’s an alternative.
This is going to be a brief post, and a first for me, as the video I’m about to share with you I haven’t actually seen, but it was recommended to me by my editor, so I have every faith it’s worth your while.
The reason I haven’t seen it is because this video deals with the hypothetical of how Rogue One should have ended. I haven’t seen Rogue One yet — I live in the Tundra, long story — but I am eagerly awaiting the home release and have somehow managed to hear nothing of the film’s actual end, despite my job and everyone I ever talk to, so I certainly don’t want to spoil it now with a hypothetical.
But you don’t have that problem, or likely you wouldn’t have clicked here, and...

Disney's shiny new live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast comes out this Friday, and while I went into it thinking that it would be nothing more than a carbon copy of the 1991 animated classic, it surprisedly added a few things that improved the internal logic of the story. Joey has a review up here at GeekTyrant, so be sure to check that out. But in the meantime, the team at How It Should Have Ended has set their sights on the '91 movie in their latest video.
Side note: what is it with these YouTube shows trying to come up with "funny" song parodies all of a sudden? They do it at the end of this video, and it's a big part of this movie's Honest Trailer, too. Weird. Anyway, let us know if you dig this in the comments below.

I can't say I've ever wondered what Tom Hanks' lovable, simple-minded Forrest Gump would look like blasting his way through the Wachowski Siblings' sleek, tech-noir action thriller world of The Matrix, but just in case that thought had actually crossed your mind, the team at How It Should Have Ended have a new episode of their "Hero Swap" digital series that's perfect for you. There are a couple of nice little touches in here, including the white feather floating across the screen just before Forrest and Agent Smith go head to head in the subway tunnel.

Doctor Strange has one of the best final acts of any comic book movie ever made. (It's not quite The Avengers, but it's up there.) The climactic battle as the city reverses time and rebuilds itself is an innovative and thrilling set piece, and Strange's confrontation with Dormammu (both characters played by Benedict Cumberbatch) works both as a character moment for Strange and as a wickedly funny comedic encounter.
Now the team from How It Should Have Ended has put their own comedic spin on the Marvel movie, and there are some pretty excellent moments in here. Check it out, and don't forget to stick around for a post-credits scene involving Thanos:...
