When one of the bad peculiar jumps out of the fountain and grabs Bronwyn. He was totally submerged when he first jumps out, then when he grabs Bronwyn his coat is only wet from his chest down.
When Jake first sees the children at the dilapidated house, Claire, Olive, Emma and the twins are seen peeking out from behind the walls. In the next scene, the children present are Bronwyn, Olive, Emma and the twins (and Millard)--the only children sent to collect Jake, according to Miss Peregrine. Claire and Bronwyn were switched momentarily.
Prior to arriving at the bombed out home in the present for the first time Jake is tricked into stepping into a bog but when he emerges from the woods to see the building there is no mud on his trouser legs. When he enters the pub again after his leg is covered in mud again.
When Emma enters the 'Ghost Train' haunted house she wears red lipstick. When she exits her lips are no longer red.
The German bombers are clearly Heinkel 111, on those planes bombs are stored vertically in the bomb bay. In the different house bombing scenes they are showed in the bomb bay stored horizontally.
During the sequence in Blackpool when Emma is floating between the Tower and Pier and gets trapped on the Tram wire, the tram is approaching on the wrong track for a Blackpool tram.
Millard is invisible but his clothing is visible, yet the Hollowgasts are invisible and so is their clothing. They are different kinds of creatures with different mechanisms of invisibility.
On entering the wreck Emma uses her lead shoes to go to the bottom, the weight of the shoes pulling her down. Once inside the wreck she swims forward while maintaining a level position, which is only possible on a neutral buoyancy, yet the lead shoes would still pull her feet down. However, once underwater Emma's magical ability with air allows her to control her buoyancy - even raise an entire ship - and is why (when she's back on dry land) Emma can't use air itself to control her buoyancy in the atmosphere.
When Horace is refereeing the boys playing, he remarks that they can't even play soccer without squabbling. Since they are British, he should have said "football" since that's what they call it, but of course he is an American so he calls it "soccer".
When Jake and Emma are leaving after Jake's first visit in the loop they take a selfie with Jake's phone. In the resulting picture however, they have switched places.
Around 48 minutes into the movie at the reset scene, the gramophone is rotating anti (counter) clockwise. (Version streamed on Disney 30 August 2024 at 21:35).
The kettle is making a whistling sound when Fiona is boiling the water, but it has no whistle on it, and it doesn't seem to be the whistling kind at all.
Emma is lighter than air, but her hair isn't, it just behaves like normal hair instead of floating upwards from her head.
At the end, a Polish 20zl banknote in a 1943 scene is from 1982.
On his way to take care of his grandfather, Jake calls and has a conversation with him. When his grandfather suddenly hangs up the phone, a dial tone can be heard coming from Jake's cellphone. When a call is ended, cellphones do not emit a dial tone.
When the German bombers are about to destroy the house and Miss Peregrine rolls time backwards one day, the clock turns backwards, the phonograph record and scenery are all moving backwards but the audio of the song "Run Rabbit Run" continues to play forward at varying speeds. The song is never played in reverse.
There are 3 piers stretching out into the sea in Blackpool, North, Central and South, but none of them are directly in front of the Blackpool Tower. The closest one is North Pier which is around a quarter of a mile away.
When Mr. Barron meets Jake at the entrance to the Loop, he says the only thing he can't change about himself are his eyes. When he takes Jake's form in the room with the Ymbrynes, his eyes are the same color as Jake's.
When Emma and Jake go down to the wreck, she uses the lead boots as weights. How then does she get back up? She would still be the same weight as on the way down. Even carrying the boots.
Emma is light as a feather with some helium
capability to float away without her heavy, weighted in metal shoes.
There is no reference to being extremely strong. She does not Bench or Leg Press X-number of Kilograms or Lbs. Her legs are that of a child. Yet, back to the weighted shoes. She can walk in these weighted shoe. There were no Electro-Magnetics nor any OFF-ON toggle switches. Only latches to lock the shoes on and off.
These metal shoes would build muscle with some sixty years of use - even if the children never seem to age. To say that they are infinitely children negates the fact that she had build up a tolerance to wear heavy shoes.
Meaning: she either builds up huge calves or would not be able to walk in those metal boots.

While this is a fantasy film, it's worth pointing out that there are no recorded bombing raids on or bombs dropped in Wales in September 1943 (earlier that year, yes, but not September). Also, the locals knew the school was an orphanage and that it had been bombed, so there must have been some interaction with the local community in the 1940s as the children had gas masks. Therefore, the school would also have been aware of the regulations on Black Out 'curtains' to prevent light from being seen and indicate possible targets for the enemy planes. Instead, the house was lit up like a beacon. Had they followed the regulations, the time loop would not have been necessary (but then there wouldn't have been the premise for the film!)
When Jake first arrives at the house, Miss Peregrine tells him to hurry up because "your tea is getting cold." They then go to the kitchen where Emma is still boiling the water, so the tea isn't even brewed yet.
Towards the film's end, Emma and Jacob talk about where time loops are situated, and Emma says that they are everywhere, even in a London Subway. She was probably referring to the underground rail system in London. Given all these particular 'Peculiar ' children are British, she would have said 'Underground' or Tube/ A Tube Station. British English subway refers to pedestrian passageways (also called Underpasses), usually traversing under roads/railways, and the term would not have been in general use in the 1940s, particularly in a small island community. The characters' use of the term must indicate to American audiences that they are talking about the underground railway (The London Underground was the first of its kind), but it isn't apparent to British audiences.
