I started watching this show with low expectations. I thought it would be a Disney version of the dancing reality shows we are suffering though on the other channels, so I was pleasantly surprised. The dance scenes and music are very good, not my favorite but good. The stories are basic Disney; the girls want something, they do something they shouldn't to try and get it, mess-up and get punished (though we never actually see them being punished). In my opinion the show would be much improved if they dropped the Flynn character and had the older kids interact together more. In other posts some people have commented on Davis Cleveland's (Flynn) acting skills. I don't think it is appropriate to do that, but I will say that the character Flynn is the most annoying character I have ever. Flynn brings absolutely nothing to the show. Flynn is too pushy for a child his age and his behavior sets a bad example for other kids his age. I have to say that I am surprised that Disney would put a character like him on one of their shows.
Update: After watching many more episodes I have come to the conclusion that Flynn is a bully. He verbally abuses everybody. Is constantly belittling all the other kids and acting superior to them all. He stops just short of physically assault. Though in one episode they did imply that he gave the smart kid a wedgy.
