Although mainly set in France the series was actually filmed on the islands of Malta and Gozo.
On Monday, 8th August 2022, Channel 5 Television and AMC Networks' Acorn TV announced that they have commissioned Clapperboard to produce a 6-episode second series of the popular crime drama - to be preceded by a Christmas Special. The Christmas Special will air on Channel 5 in the UK in December 2022 with the second series to follow in 2023. Filming will begin on location later in 2022.
