Episodes/segments of episodes/etc. are clearly filmed out of order. A good example of this is the seller with the Las Vegas Club poker chip getting the Rat Pack statues - yet these statues can be seen on display in the background in later episodes. Likewise, on a more recent episode, the green Jim Morrison painting by Denny Dent is alternately present/not present between segments, with a different painting being there when it is gone.
When the man was selling the Cleveland Indians pennant, Rick said:
"You know there was no major league baseball during World War 2."
Every game was played, every world series was played during World War 2.
A lady brings in an allegedly medieval axe, claiming it might be from Asia. Rick refutes her by telling "No, no, it's more likely from India or Middle East". Both India and the Middle East ARE in Asia.
When a man was selling some antique Red Comet Fire Grenades, Rick mistook the clear liquid enclosed in the glass bulbs as water but it's really carbon tetrachloride which is very toxic but far more effective for putting out fires.
When the seller with the life-size red Power Ranger was in the shop, Corey and Chum were quizzing each other about the show, and claim that the original Red Ranger's name was Jason. While what they said was accurate, this figure does NOT depict the original Red Ranger, but one from a later series. However, they were quizzing each other and not talking about the figuring question.
The pawn shop is always jam-packed during the "stock footage' of the shop shown between segments, yet is mysteriously empty during most transactions that take place there on the show. This is because the shop closes and vacates its customers during most filmed transactions.
The characters often mispronounce "Cavalry" as "Calvary." (Cavalry is soldiers on horseback, Calvary is the site where Jesus was crucified.)
