While driving a troop carrier, two crew members are stabbed in the chest by an alien that jumps on the front of the vehicle. Blood spurts out of the wounds before the shot cuts away.

Many aliens are shot at by the crew as they head to their goal.

Crew members see the aftermath of a battle, with many dead humans and aliens covered in blood.

No graphic gore is shown. However, there are some scenes with blood on character's faces or body, and brief moments of blood exiting a gun wound or other battle injury.

English dub: "Son-of-a-bitch" and "bastard" are occasionally used by certain characters.

Disreputable characters claim the main character is involved in salvaging material, which he trades for drugs and alcohol. It is implied by the character's reaction that this is not true.

The ship's doctor is often carrying around a comically large bottle of alcohol.

A group of characters toasts to their hardships by drinking some sake with the ship's doctor.

A rowdy group of pilots celebrate by buying each other beer.

An alien unexpectedly jumps out at the crew, causing panic and a lot of shooting.

Overall, this would likely hold a light PG-13 rating. Battle scenes are few and far apart, with much of the film's time spent following the crew members on board the ship, or the teamwork involved in executing a plan. The level of violence is generally not high, and comparable to Star Wars, but with some blood shown.
