This is a foreseeable, predictable scheme, nothing new, but efficiently done, supported by a solid acting and editing. The main female lead is awesome in this role of a lonely mother of a child, separated from her mate and who has to face many money issues. She gets involved with drug dealers for whom she transports some hot stuff. If you like Paris and its suburbs by night, and atmosphere, you may try it, you won't be deceived. But this is not TAXI DRIVER, though it is obviously more or less inspired by it. A dark but not too gloomy tale that deserves to be seen. It's good to see Doudou Masta again, as a drug baron, not a priest.

An interesting mini-series shot entirely at night in the streets of Paris, often in the rain. Reminiscent of Taxi Driver in style, it's the story of amphetamine addicted Nora who lives in her car, taking passengers at night to raise enough money to buy an apartment so she can have joint custody of her little girl. Her brother Ben inadvertently involves her as a mule for a drug lord, and that's when things get far more dramatic.
Average 18min per episode, beautifully filmed with a consistent mood, great background music and well acted by the Iranian French lead.
It's not perfect, some of the scenes linger and contribute little despite the short run-time, and the plot stretches credibility at times, but it held my attention for the 5 episodes and the script was good enough to generate enough empathy for Nora, despite her shortcomings. Recommended.

I love golshifteh and i prod of her she is very nice actress and this series is good.great direction great act and have a nice timeline. I thinck tahts good.
The whole dark affair starts during a mobile phone video conversation being held while people are driving. One of them comes a cropper and the other rushes to his aid. The trouble is that neither knows what they are getting into.
During this fast-paced series with episodes of just fifteen to twenty five minutes the female protagonist experiences a night that hurtles downwards into a criminal underworld of danger and aggression partly caused by her own brother.
She deals with the situation as well as intrusions from her personal life elegantly but has she really avoided the gang? There's enough of a cliffhanger here to suggest there might be another series.
