Yes, I know Aurthor and kids went on cruise without their mother, but where is Sally and more important where are the actors? Aurthur had a bit part in Mystery 101, but is this the end for him here?

I enjoyed this episode and the location change. But there were two main characters missing and it was noticeable.

It's amazing how shows move off direction. This one stayed on course and improved which was an unexpected shock after the Mystery 101 disaster ending. In that one they drag the love story along with. A bogus new fiancé in the picture after just 11 months. Silly, have them grow like Roe and Nick , it's okay to be happy and not drag the bottom line story through the mud again. If you aren't locked after 7 episodes time to find a new series. I'm into Aurora and her band of misfits.

6/10 - one of the better new installments in this series features an engaging mystery, entertaining cast of characters, and an okay ending.

When newlyweds Aurora (Candace Cameron Bure) and Nick Miller (Niall Matter), a librarian and sociologist respectively, face a flight delay for their trip to Paris, they opt for a pre-honeymoon holiday at a secluded cabin in Ridge Bay near Lawrenceton. Their getaway takes a less than romantic turn when they find a body floating in the lake, and their alone time is cut short by a sprawling investigation. The victim: Cliff Minton, a security systems salesperson whom no one bothered to report missing until his body was found a week after his death. But his ex- wife is the number one suspect.

Holiday or not, come rain or snow, Aurora Teagarden is always on the prod when it comes to fishing out the suspects. She just loves a puzzle, and when she and her husband finds a body it all systems to go for her inquisitiveness. It's business as usual, a well-paced mystery which benefits from a good idyllic setting of boats and harbours. There's a bit more interplay between Aurora and Inspector Lynn. Lynn really verbally lays into Aurora at one point. Possibly it needed more suspects, and sadly there's no Sally ( my favourite character) but it's an enjoyable show.

I love all the Aurora Teagarden movies and this one didn't disappoint . I usually can't guess the murderer which makes it more enjoyable.

I loved this Aurora Teagarden mystery I was wondering how they were going weave in the murder solving on their pre honeymoon but they didn't disappoint with it taking place just outside of Lawrenceton! Loved the great chemistry of Roe and Nick so cute together made this one one of my favorites!

Not up to the quality of the 16 previous movies. Even Nick and Roe have lost the chemistry that has always been evident. Roe was so nosy that it was difficult to watch.

Like many media establishments, the Aurora Teagarden Team did a great job producing these movies in COVID restrictions - the screen industry really set a good example and went the extra mile to provide quality shows that helped us all through isolation. Thank you. Whilst there are some absences here, with such a big cast as this, it would be hard to get them all back every time, even in normal days.

Regarding the plot, it isn't my favorite in the series and I prefer Roe and her beau in the next/final outing, so I feel they could have made more if it wasn't for behind-the-scenes issues and the swap to a prequel format.

I like this series, but this movie is awful. The story is poorly written. Sally and Arthur are missing, and it's noticeable. Some of the acting is over the top. Very disappointing!!

THANKS to the cast & crew that got together during the ongoing pandemic to film this...good new shows are extremely hard to find these days. Candice & Niall make the best Mystery couple of all the series that I watch - & HMM are my favorites. Work is tough & the Aurora movies are a much needed distraction. These 2 together make for great TV & I cannot wait for the next one!

Aurora and Nick are married and eager to go on their honeymoon to Paris, but unfortunately weather has delayed their flight. They are staying pretty positive about their staycation and then Liz and Bubba loan our newlyweds their Aunt Gladys' cabin on the lake. No landline, total privacy...fishing, what could go wrong?

On the first day they observe a teenager having a bit of a tantrum with his mother in the cabin next door.

Meanwhile Aida goes to deal with a security company who has a representative misrepresenting the value the security systems add to their home. As it turns out the employee has been missing for a week and Aida suggests that he should report that to the police.

He was going to go fishing up at Ridge Bay...which happens to be where Ro and Nick are pre-honeymooning. Out on the water, Ro and Nick find a body.

This sets up an interesting murder mystery...for Mr. And Mrs. Miller.

Curious, they look in to the murder victims very public divorce and find that his ex-wife and their next door neighbor is acting a little dodgy.

"Cliff was a salesman. King of false promises. I always told him it would come back to bite him."-Terri.

"The lack of wifi here is not a bug, it's a feature. The police will take care of this case, so why don't we unplug and do something vacation-y?" As he holds up the new Robin Daniels mystery -Nick

Great callbacks to previous episodes and a lot of our favorite cast return...although where is Sally? ( I am glad to see she is back in the next episode. )

This was a fun mystery with a lot of sweet and silly moments with the newlyweds.

This series is consistently in my top three favorites series on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, along with Hannah Swensen's Murder she Baked and Mystery 101.

I love this series and can't wait for more episodes!

Candace Cameron Bure and Niall Matter are fantastic and have great chemistry together. I hope we get to see a lot more.

This movie was disappointing. To me it was not nearly as good as the previous movies. Agree with other reviewers Aurora is just too nosy. Plus where is Peter Benson's Arthur? He adds alot to the movies and his absence was evident. I think it may be time for Aurora Teagarden Mysteries to retire unless the next one is back to par with the previous ones and Peter Benson returns.

Again people you must remember this was most likely filmed during COVID. Also I think these are filmed in Canada who had a strick protocols so my guess is they were only only so many people.

The mysteries are always predictable and Candice's acting just tolerable but I've always still found them enjoyable. Not so here. Something seemed "off" about it all and it's not the fault of Covid. There's no energy, the script and mystery are flat, the usual great chemistry between "Nick" and "Aurora" isn't there and the two missing characters are sorely missed. "Nick" just seemed like a spare wheel tagging along with "Aurora" while she frantically and fanatically forced herself into everyone's business. Her acting was much worse than usual and direction was poor. There wasn't anything "pre-honeymoon" about it. Not even a candlelight dinner between the two!

I can't understand liking this show as much as people do. I know her acting was bad, but this one is the worst. The other mystery shows actresses are so much better. Time for her to retire. I can't watch these anymore.

I saw a couple of these mysteries in the past. But in this one the lead actress was obnoxious running rough shod over everyone else despite warnings and frowns. It was like seeing a dog on a leash that nearly rips your arm off lunging ahead frantically.

I certainly wouldn't want to be married to someone like Roe Teagarden.

Not only can't she let go of her ghoulish fascination to solve every murder she comes across and enjoy her honeymoon, or whatever it was, as she butts into everyone's lives and the law enforcement's investigation... because of her morbid obsession, she also gets both her and her husband Nick shot at!

I wonder how long a marriage like this will last. Poor Nick has been getting into physical confrontations and trying to protect her since they first met.

And even though she kept saying that she would let it go to enjoy their honeymoon, she didn't.

Because of her obsession, her friend Sally was strangled and left for dead in another episode, and so was her mother. Who has to die to finally get it through her thick head to stick with old cases and leave the crime solving to the professionals?

I would run to get this marriage annulled if I were him. He deserves better.
