Very slow paced and at times gets deviated from the core script. Kirti Kulhari should have been better. Pankaj Tripathy and Anupriya have held the entire plot on their shoulders. But flawed direction and snail speed proceedings bore you from beginning. Still a good watch. Not at par with the earlier instalment.

Even if you know the reason of murder from first episode but this series is intriguing & keep you entertained till the end. The performances by actors are good specially I enjoyed performance by Mishra ji & his wife.

With his genuine performance Tripathi kept the show worthwhile for watching.. else it is too mundane with everyone trying to relate with the accused in one way or another.. Vidyarthiji was gods but his talent was wasted, could have used him better..

Each and every actor has nailed their role. But i m falling short of words to praise Kirti Kulhari. Can somebody please give her filmfare best actor award 2021 already

Tripathi ji ek hi to dil h kitte baar jeetoge, brilliant act by pankaj tripathi, you are like a precious gem.
Apoorva, who outlined the pain and consternation of the gay community through 'Aligarh', has worked through this web series to bring an issue related to women from behind closed doors to the front, which is often not considered an issue.
'Criminal Justice-Behind Closed Doors' furthers Apoorva's mission of portraying human sensibilities as being a court drama.
The story of 'Criminal Justice Season 2' is straightforward and predictable. The writer has not even tried to confuse it with the screenplay.
The focus thriller has been more of an issue than coherent, with short twists and turns. The essence of the entire series, which hinges on it, is also known to the viewer in the opening scenes. However, it is accurately revealed in the last episode.
However, the story of this series seems to be slow in some places, especially the prison scenes are repeated at times.
The web series 'Criminal Justice-Behind Closed Doors' may have been described as a courtroom drama, but you will be disappointed if you sit around expecting a suspense thriller to watch it. Watch it calmly.
Pankaj Tripathi, Anupriya Goenka, and Mita Vashistha are associated with the first season of Criminal Justice, have also looked strong in this season.
There is a truth, understanding, and compassion in the character of advocate Madhav Mishra, played by Pankaj Tripathi with all sincerity.
At the same time, Anupriya Goenka has also done full justice to her character. On her part, the director has given many important dialogues, which she has been successful in bringing out effectively.
Also, artists like Jishu Sengupta, Ashish Vidyarthi, Adrija Sinha, Pankaj Saraswat, Ayaz Khan, Kalyani Mule, Ajit Singh Palawat, Khushbu Atre have fully supported the story.
It would not be wrong to say that the characters of 'Criminal Justice' are a strong side of this series.
The story revolves primarily around Anu Chandra, played by Kirti Kulhari. The actress has already won her acting in films and series like Pink, Mission Mangal, Uri, Four More Shots Please.
In 'Criminal Justice', she also appears to be dissolved in her character. In short dialogues, Kirti continues to connect with the audience with her gestures.

As, my title is concern I want to present my review in respect to Mr. mishra ji and her wife. The combo is great and is very limited but when seen will make you either laugh aloud or cry too (at last). For other screenplay review kindly refer other reviews. Its great but as someone written the jail scene is a bit more repetitive but its necessary too. Must must watch. Review from Kathmandu, Nepal.
Unnecessary drag ...not so strong storyline and the season could have been made a bit more engaging within 5-6 episodes. Lot many threads left open ended and felt a few characters/storyline were not required at all, like the father of the actress, the drug angle, Sania - random lady, nikhat's family angle, a few characters in the prison

Plot of the series is indeed very good, with a social message at the end. All the actors have done justice to their roles, with a special mention of a chemistry between Pankaj Tripathi and his wife, it is so charming to see them.
The sub plots have also been weaved well within the main story which takes it forward.
The only negative I found that mystery when revealed at the end was not very convincing.
Rest all good.
Looking for the 3rd season for a more gripping suspense drama.

Storyline is based on serious issue, that was good. Pankaj Tripathi and Anupriya Goenka acting was good. But some episode's too overstretched. I some points/scene not required. It's courtroom drama. I can watch only for pankaj Tripathi. Season 1 is better than season 2.

Top notch story, the murder mystery you think it is simple but not.
How every episodes complete you see the complications of the murder revealed.
And when in last the main mystery comes.
You will shock.
Every one have to watch this.
And Mishraji's wife's character is awesome.
The star cast brilliant, acting superb. I watched after looking few faces on poster, specially Pankaj Tripathi, Deepti Naval etc.
Superb acting.
Drawback - Biggest drawback is its slow, very slow. Story of 4 episodes converted to 8. You can see police or lawyer when moving to say something takes 8 to 12 or 15 sec to speak, in mean they just see each other and give expressions.
Biggest drawback that pushes me to pull down my rating is the cause on which complete story is based which is quite obvious in first episode only. I won't state here to spoil the suspense. But I feel that reason is something not BIG to have as motive. There are small things around it, but not great motive.

Insult to season one! Hands down to the acting skills of Pankaj Tripathi and Anupriya Goenka were brilliant but I wish they wud have given some dialogues to Kriti too rather than just crying. As a summary u can watch episode 1 and directly episode 7&8. You are not missing much. It shud have been a 3-4 episode series but they went over and beyond. All in all it deserves no more than 3/10.

Well presented and overall good acting from everyone. Good plot. Special appreciation for Anupriya Goenka, she is just so sharp and strong in her character. Pankaj Tripathi as usual Man of Steel. Kirti Kulhari justified her role.

I binge watched it over 2 sessions. Gripping story, well directed and excellent performances (which to me means v good direction). I just hope the foul language is done away with in all OTT serials.

It is better than most of the webseries out there. The concept is pretty good , "BEHIND CLOSED DOORS", AS most of the unholy activities take place inside our houses .

Wooow....what a story. This is one of the few series where it has presented very clearly and cleverly about 90% of households story in India. Appreciate the way story has been presented revealing something very peculiar and topic which no one brings up or even scared to talk , share with others in our country and also the cast has done a great job. It depicts how most of the women are brought up in India.what are they taught to be sehensheel, sehenshakti and whatevr happens we should adjust. have never seen they teach the same thing to men. And so whatever happens after marriage, we shouldnt speakup, we should adjust, should suffer because it s the common thing happening. Hope this series will make a change in the mindsets of people and future generations.

Focus on the show could have been more on the investigation, rather it was on the lawyers and their conversations which weren't even fruitful much.
There were a couple more proofs that they could have submitted in the court but didn't.
Husband's controlling nature could have been shown some more in the flashbacks but just showing the wife's emotions instead stretched out the episodes a lot.
The police discussing about the photographs and not doing anything is a waste of content.

Creators did a great job by linking each and every scene from the show which looks so obvious to a detailed courtroom explanation. The way events flows through out the series is flawless, really loved to watch Pankaj, Anupriya and Kirti at their best.
Special appreciation for Kirti's acting, she makes you feel her pain.

This season 2 is not better than Season 1 But
The acting of Pankaj Tripathi and Kirti Kulkarni is mind blowing. Top level acting. Story is also good but should be more interesting... Overall This is a very good Series.
