The critic-boxing director Uwe Boll is back with another “In the Name of the King” movie.
This time around, the film stars Dominic Purcell (“Prison Break”) as a modern day hit man in Bulgaria who travels back in time to save a kingdom from an evil warlord.
It also stars Ralitsa Paskaleva and Bashar Rahal.
Boll talks exclusively with Latino-Review on why he returned to this franchise that was once based off the Dungeon Siege video game series. And he also explained his passion for making political movies now, and how he kept attracting certain stars towards his projects.
“In the Name of the King 3: The Last Mission” is available On Demand, Blu-Ray and DVD today.

Latino-Review: Could you tell me what attracted you to this script? Especially since this is one of the few movies you didn’t write.
Uwe Boll: Yeah.

Critics vow to boycott Uwe Boll's gruesome depiction of horrific crimes committed by Nazis at Auschwitz
A German film director best known for his adaptations of bloody video games has sparked widespread revulsion with his upcoming film about the horrors of the Holocaust.
Uwe Boll, who has been described as the world's worst film director and a "schlockmeister", said he felt it was time to present the Nazis' crimes in their "full horror" in his film Auschwitz.
His aim, he said, was to allow audiences to finally grasp the "real, everyday truth" of the Third Reich's atrocities.
Some critics have already vowed to boycott the film, having seen a gruesome teaser trailer – users must prove they are 18 before watching the clip on YouTube but even for adults it makes very grim viewing.
In the excerpt, the 45-year old filmmaker appears as an SS officer outside a gas chamber inside...

The last time Uwe Boll tried his hand at making a comedy, it was the controversial Postal. Some heralded the film a hilarious comedic romp and Boll's best film to date. Let's see how they feel about Blubberella, Boll's new horror comedy about an obese superheroine battling the forces of evil.
You can accuse Uwe Boll of many things, but a slacker he is not. His Billy Zane drama about the atrocities being committed in Darfur hits DVD shelves today, a biopic on the life of famed German boxer Max Schmeling is awaiting release, and he has a third BloodRayne film finally set in Nazi Germany like the original video game due next year. And, since he had the sets and costumes on hand, he's moved full speed ahead into what will undoubtedly be a very controversial movie graphically depicting the Holocaust horrors committed at Auschwitz. Now, via the American Film Market announcement,...

Quoth Uwe Boll:
talks about that Auschwitz teaser and the interesting point is that 90% of that "Journalist" still judge me based on House Of The Dead and Alone In The Dark they totally ignore that I made More Movies about Real Worldwide Problems and good movies as everybody else ...from Heart Of America , Seed, Postal, Rampage, Stoic , Max Schmeling and Darfur
If a journalist calls himself Journalist then they should do their job properly and do their research.... why Rampage and Darfur and Stoic getting great reviews from the people they saw them ..why a Ron Howard and Amnesty International think that Darfur is nothing less as a masterpiece ...why over 30 festivals world...wide invited the movies...why they are sold in 100 countries If I'm So Bad ...blablabla...
its time for all the joblos, twitch, dreadcentral , aicn ...etc.. to Grow up and recognize that they have no clue what...

Uwe Boll is mostly known for his film adaptations of well-known horror themed video games but he has done so many other films outside of that one particular area including comedy, fantasy and films based on actual events. Boll not only directs but he writes and produces his projects and is very hands on and controlling when it comes to his films. Boll has made quite a few of my favorite movies, one of my favorites is "Seed" (if you haven't watched this disturbing film you need to) and another being "Postal" which was a really different film in my eyes from Boll and has a lot of dark comedic scenes in it but still has the shock factor. Mr. Boll took a moment out of his very busy schedule and festival stops for me where we talked about how he got into making movies to me not knowing everything...
