Outer Wilds

The initial template for the game was inspired by a prototype in which the player character would sit and roast a marshmallow as a planets revolved around their position. Eventually this would culminate in seeing the explosion of the system's sun as it collided with the player's vision obstructing their view entirely and ending the simulation. These evolved into what became some of the core visual elements of the final game.
