Terry Crews has signed with CAA for representation.

Crews started his career as a professional linebacker and defensive end for the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers and Washington Commanders before he retired from the NFL in 1997 and pursued acting.

His breakout role was in the 2004 comedy “White Chicks,” and since then he has starred in “Everybody Hates Chris,” “The Expendables” franchise, “Idiocracy” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” in which he portrayed the eccentric Lieutenant Terry Jeffords.

The movie follows a mysterious mermaid who has been trapped and forgotten for years in the water tower of a small Southern town. While talking to Cam Gigandet about their insight into the movie, he revealed that he portrays a cop who is a bully toward Billy, who Jack Kilmer portrays.

The film was written and directed by Adam Sigal who has directed directed “Chariot”, starring John Malkovich, Rosa Salazar and Thomas Mann. In 2022, he wrote and directed Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose, starring Simon Pegg, Minnie Driver, Christopher Lloyd and Neil Gaiman.

The Roast of Tom Brady racked up 279 million minutes for the week of April 29-May 5, good for 10th place among original series in Nielsen’s rankings. The special streamed live on May 5, meaning it tallied those viewing minutes in under 12 hours. (With a running time of almost three hours, the 279 million minutes equate to about 1.6 million complete runs of the special.)

As summer approaches (for the Northern Hemisphere at least), Netflix is set to premiere a fresh season of one of its biggest hits.

Brigerton season 3 is set to arrive on May 16 and will debut a “new crop of debutantes” into the regency drama fray. Other original series of note this month include Indian drama Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar (May 1), the Jeff Daniels-starring A Man in Full (May 2), and intriguing Korean title The 8 Show (May 17). This is a story about a woman (Shannon) deeply addicted to celebrity news and gossip. After friends and family finally confront her, she agrees to get help. Where? The same place where the stars get help – a fancy celebrity rehab in Malibu. Instead of confronting her demons, she behaves as if it’s the Four Seasons. Once there, she connects with her favorite young starlet and must decide whether to return to her family or join her in Hollywood.

It’s season finale time for networks, but Netflix, naturally, still has plenty of brand new TV and shows coming in May.

Jeff Daniels makes his TV return in the David E. Kelley series “A Man in Full.” That six-episode series is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Tom Wolfe. Per a press release: “When Atlanta real estate mogul Charlie Croker faces sudden bankruptcy, political and business interests collide as Charlie defends his empire from those attempting to capitalize on his fall from grace.” The series will also star Tom Pelphrey, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, William Jackson Harper, Aml Ameen, Sarah Jones, Jon Michael Hill and Chanté Adams.

Additionally, comedy fans can get excited for a new special series from John Mulaney. The comedian is hosting a multi-night event, “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA,” that looks to be part interview show and part man-on-the-street hijinks.

The actress and talk show host broke the news via a preview clip for Friday’s episode of the Drew Barrymore Show. Barrymore initially brought up the subject of a Happy Gilmore sequel to her audience, saying, “I want it. I need it.” She continued, “I stayed up last night with my daughter watching Billy Madison. I sent Sandler a video of that, and then he sent me another video back, and I’m waiting to see if he’s confirming about the Happy Gilmore 2 script.”

She cited Christopher McDonald’s interview from last month, where the actor — who played Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore — claimed that Sandler had shown him a draft of the long-awaited sequel. The clip then shifted to later on in the show’s tape,...

“Drishyam,” a hit Indian thriller in which an ordinary man confounds the police in order to protect his family, is to be re-made in English. Production is by India’s Panorama Studios with U.S. companies Gulfstream Pictures and Joat Films.

The film was first made in 2013 in the Malayalam language, before being remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles in 2015. It earned itself a Hindi sequel “Drishyam 2,” in 2022, that grossed some $43 million worldwide.

Panorama, which produced the Hindi version for Viacom18 Motion Pictures, has acquired the international remake rights to “Drishyam 1 & 2” from the original producers, Aashirvad Cinemas, and is settling up multiple international versions. A Korean remake with Anthology Studios was announced in May last year, while Panorama says that a development deal for a Spanish language retread is also close to being finalized.

Actress Drew Barrymore posted an emotional video for co-star Adam Sandler after re-watching their 1998 rom-com ‘The Wedding Singer’, the first movie they ever starred in together. Drew, 48, was supposed to be heading to a yoga class when she stumbled across ‘The Wedding Singer’ playing on TV. She became so invested in the iconic ’90s rom-com, which she starred in alongside Adam that she wound up sticking around to watch the whole thing.

“It started this morning,” Drew said in an emotional Instagram video, reports eonline.com.

“I was supposed to be heading to yoga class, and I’m taking the next later one so I can watch it.”

It’s the end of the world as we know it and HBO Max feels fine. The Warner Bros. Discovery streamer’s list of new releases for January 2023 is highlighted by one long-awaited post-apocalyptic adventure.

HBO’s TV adaptation of beloved video game The Last of Us premieres on Jan. 15. Created by Chernobyl writer Craig Mazin, this story will follow the game storyline of Joel (Pedro Pascal) guiding 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) through a virus-ridden wasteland towards hope. It’s probably gonna be awesome.

The other big original series this month is animated mystery comedy Velma. Brought to life by Mindy Kaling, this show will be all about Scooby-Doo’s bespectacled buddy Velma Dinkley. Jinkies indeed!

There aren’t any major HBO Max original movie releases this January. The first of the month sees the arrival of Ghostbusters (1984), Hereditary, John Wick, and more. Recent theatrical release The Menu premieres on Jan.

The new year brings new offerings on HBO and HBO Max. There are a number of fresh titles hitting the streaming service on Jan. 1, perfect for watching with friends or family on the first day of 2023.

HBO is adding an eclectic list of dramas, comedies, action and horror films in January. There’s “Insidious: Chapter 2,” “The Cabin in the Woods” and “Hereditary” for those who prefer Halloween to New Year’s. Award-winning dramas coming to the platform include “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Captain Phillips,” and “The Artist.” Comedy offerings include “White Chicks,” “Horrible Bosses 2,” and “Our Idiot Brother.” And you can also check out the first three films in the John Wick franchise before “John Wick: Chapter 4” hits theaters this spring.

On the original programming side, there’s the Season 29 premiere of “Real Sports With Bryan Gumbel,” as well as the second season of “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?...

Drew Barrymore is an open book when it comes to discussing her divorce from Will Kopelman and her dating life.

The host of Global’s “The Drew Barrymore Show” tells People that she went through some “cripplingly difficult” times after splitting from Kopelman in 2016. They’d tied the knot in 2012.

The pair share daughters Olive, 10, and Frankie, 8, together.

Barrymore insists of the breakup, “There was no scandal. Nothing went wrong, which is cleaner, but makes it harder and more confusing because there isn’t The Thing to point to.

“We tried so hard to make it work. [A friend] said to me, ‘Divorce is the death of a dream.’ That’s exactly what it feels like, something so final you can’t get it back.”

The streaming service’s January lineup also includes the new adult animated series Velma which delves into the backstory of Scooby-Doo’s Velma Dinkley. And Aquaman‘s Jason Momoa hosts the competition series The Climb featuring amateur climbers battling for a 100,000 cash prize.

HBO Max will also be debuting live sports beginning with coverage of the U.S. Women’s National Team vs. New Zealand soccer match on January 17th. In With the Old returns for its third season on January 11th and Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? is back for a second season starring January 6th.

Drew Barrymore may be reuniting with Cameron Diaz onscreen.

The daytime talk show host told her longtime friend and co-star Adam Sandler that she has been discussing a “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” remake with Diaz. And while Barrymore has her sights set on playing the role of an overbearing salesman originated by late star John Candy, the Steve Martin marketing executive character is still up for grabs between Diaz and Sandler.

“Her and I did discuss remaking ‘Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,’ and then I was like, ‘Well you know Adam and I talk about that,'” Barrymore recalled telling Diaz during the “Drew Barrymore Show” via Entertainment Weekly. “Well, I also want to play John Candy.”

“You could do a good Candy,” Sandler responded. “You know who could do Candy the best? [Chris] Farley. He would walk around the office and say lines from ‘Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.'”

Adam Sandler earned strong reviews for his performance in Netflix’s “Hustle” earlier this year, but such acclaim is few and far between in the comedian’s filmography. For every “Hustle” or “Uncut Gems,” there’s an onslaught of comedies like “Murder Mystery,” “Hubie Halloween,” “The Ridiculous 6,” “Blended” and more. Film critics often have their knives out for Sandler, especially when it comes to his non-“Hustle” Netflix comedies, and he recently admitted to AARP that negative reviews can “sometimes” sting.

“Mostly because I invite all these amazing people I care about to make movies with me,” Sandler said, “and I wish they didn’t have to read shit about whatever we’ve made.”

Exclusive: Kj Apa (Riverdale) has signed on to star in the motorcycle racing pic One Fast Move from Gulfstream Pictures, in association with Luber Roklin Entertainment, which will enter production in Atlanta later this month.

In the actioner written and directed by Kelly Blatz, a dishonorably discharged soldier (Apa) seeks out his estranged father to help him pursue his dream of racing Supersport motorcycles. While training, he meets a small-town aspiring singer who begins to break down the walls his father’s absence had built up. Apa and Blatz have been developing the project alongside producers for over a year, with Gulfstream set to provide full financing. Mike Karz and Bill Bindley are producing through their Gulfstream Pictures banner, in association with Matt Luber and Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin Entertainment.

One Fast Move marks Apa’s second collaboration with Gulfstream on the heels of the 2019 rom-com The Last Summer.

Over time, he has given up on people, and even the books in his store, instead of offering solace, are yet another reminder of a world that is changing too rapidly. But when a mysterious package appears at the bookstore, its unexpected arrival gives Fikry the chance to make his life over and see things anew.

In episode 7 of Marvel’s What If…?, ‘What If… Thor Were an Only Child?’, we get to find out what would have happened if Odin had decided to return the wee babby Loki to his Frost Giant family instead of keeping him, and Thor had grown up believing he was an only child. I’m phrasing it that way because, y’know, Hela still exists. Lest we forget her majesty.

It’s a fun, fluffy episode that ends with a terrific cliffhanger that seems to set up the finale of this consistently entertaining animated series, and gives us plenty to talk about until it arrives. I’m sure they’ll find a way to kill Tony Stark at least one more time before it does.
