I don't know if this show is a tv series or a web series, but what I do know is that it's one of the most competent gay ones I've seen. I'd rank it up there with similar, and similarly good, projects like Eastsiders, Whatever This Is, and The Outs. They accomplished a lot with a handful of actors and a half dozen shooting locations. A little slow and dreary, but enjoyable.

This is a one season series, remade from the short film of 2014. Six short, quick episodes, all directed by denis theriault. Released in the first year of the pandemic. Syd is an actor, who could move on to bigger, better things. But something seems to be holding him back; he's been turning down better roles, and not returning phone calls, from his agent or from his girlfriend. Everyone wants to know what's going on. Will he have the courage to tell the people around him what's going on ? Good series! Too bad it seems to be just a one season thing. But I guess they said what needed to be said. Do actors still need to worry that coming out will harm their career? Probably everyone has their own answer to that. An interesting tidbit... the cast list has director theriault also listed as young syd. That must be his own home videos in the opening credits. I liked his one.
It was the great writing and acting that surprised me. This series really affected me emotionally. Travis Nelson took me with him on this trip, and I felt the angst and panic when he did. Please make a second season.

It's amazing that even as we approach the first quarter of this century we are still in need of such stories. It's gentleness and deeply emotional content are well played by the actors. The diversity of situations will touch many viewers.

This is an excellent series. The chemistry of the characters makes you crave for more. This can easily have multiple seasons. Travis Nelson is amazing in this series.
