Trivia
The version released in 2011 was a compromised version as Scheider died a few days before all his scenes were filmed. The film is being given a U.S theatrical screening in September 2022 where a small amount of CGI and AI voice work has been used to complete the the unfilmed scenes involving Scheider as per the original shooting script. This film is to be released under the title 'Beautful Blue Eyes' after a suggestion from the late Roy Scheider during filming.

Alternate versions
Originally released in 2009. A new edit of the film, titled Beautiful Blue Eyes, has been made for theatrical release in 2022. This version is approx. 30 minutes shorter.

Must see

The cinema photography was excellent.

Not only is it emotional, but this film builds to a quite intense and thrilling climax with a good twist at the end.

We give it a firm 8."
