Recently, I was fortunate enough to see this film and I quite liked it! It had a good plot that had a resemblance to real life situations. This is one reason that I have grown to like independent films. Hollywood films are good at showing both realistic and unrealistic plots but independent films, such as this one, make it a little more realistic. This is done mostly because there isn't a high budget and some actors/actresses being cast aren't very familiar, which I like. If a film is made with a bunch of famous celebrities, the viewers focus more on the actors than the plot. Everyone was great at representing their characters, such as Daniel Roebuck's character. The way his character was portrayed really stirs up emotions in the viewer, which helps get the viewer more involved in the film. I was really pleased with all of the characters in the film. One thing I liked was how there were some familiar faces, yet there was also some unfamiliar faces. I felt that everyone did an AWESOME job! As I stated earlier, Daniel Roebuck portrayed his character perfectly as did Alan Ritchson and Duane Whitaker. I'm sure that the women watching this film will love Alan Ritchson's character. Bottom line
he's hot! Eric Rosenberg, who plays Luca, does a great job at portraying a drug dealer on a mission. I also liked how he throws in a bit of humor in one of his scenes in the film, which happened to be one of my favorite parts. Daniel Roebuck has always been a great actor so I had no doubt that he would play a good part in this film and he definitely pulled it off. Another thing that I liked about this film was the music. I, personally, didn't recognize any of the bands that made the music for this film, but I think it sounded great. The opening song, "Black Betty", was remade by a band that I don't know of but I really like their version of a classic song. I was told of the band that wrote the majority of the songs in this film, Emperor City Motorcade. I like this band! This film is a great opportunity for them to get their music out there and heard by some important people. I also found out that Alan Ritchson wrote a song and it was used in the movie. It sounded awesome and just makes him look even better
he's gorgeous, he can act, AND he can sing! What more can you ask for? Overall, I liked this film and I want to congratulate all of the cast, crew, and musicians. You ALL did great! One day, I would really love to see this film on the shelves of the video stores and I would also love to see it on the big screen! Great job to everyone that made this film and I wish you all the best of luck at getting this film out there and seen by the public!!
