Goofs
Properly butchered meat isn't bloody, the red liquid in packages is more of a protein rich liquid that comes from the damaged cells. Therefore, the "blood" they used wouldn't likely attract the bloodsucking head.

A slow plot, but where it shines it's great.

There are parts of this movie that are really slow. The child acting is cheesy and bad, there's a teen drama romance thing going on. But the main female is likeable. I can't say the same for her younger brother, who is incredibly annoying. The movie insists on being very clear that the younger brother is quite a coward, to the extent that it messes with the viewers experience. Overall, if you're a fan of these types of movies, go for it. If not, you can skip this.
