"The Bank" finds Harris desperate for an apartment, but not as desperate as Yonkers. Peter Jurasik (first of two) plays Philip Hamel, brought in for causing a disturbance at a sperm bank (Yemana: "it's like a regular bank, only you don't deposit money!"). Hamel made his 'deposit' before he was ready to have children, and now that he is, discovers his specimen no longer exists. Dietrich naturally shows a 'passion' for the subject, relating how much more common, healthy, and efficient humans are at artificial insemination than even dairy cows ("of course, Elsie isn't quite as contented as she used to be!"). After consigning his belongings to his aunt in Poughkeepsie, Harris finally relents and accepts Dietrich's offer of the spare bed in his apartment. Johnny La Motta makes his third and final appearance, here credited on screen as the Moving Van Driver.
