Goofs

When the marine scientist is being chased by the killer her glasses are off. When she is being killed, the glasses reappear on her face.

The marine scientist is wearing high heels which are suddenly gone when running away from the Maniac, then in a later shot the heels have returned.

Although set in Florida, the location used is clearly Virginia.

The killer's clawed glove is clearly made of rubber, but is able to slit a woman's throat as if the claws were made of steel.

The killer can punch his fist through the chests of his victims, which wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't an ordinary man, but he is.

While trying to trace where Melanie and her kidnapper are, the kidnapper runs away from the phone. The police officer says they didn't get a location because the conversation was too short, however the kidnapper never hangs up the phone, which would allow the trace to continue.

When the girl working at the aquarium/museum gets chased by the killer she drops her glasses. When he kills her she all of a sudden wear the glasses again.
